thank you so much everyone ❤ so sooo much! i'm so happy you all enjoyed the story! i wrote it a couple years ago now (: it was before i adopted my dog and i was yearning for a little puppy to be at my side, enjoying life with me, watching storms and consuming the occassional cheese cube. the dog i ended up adopting came with a fear of storms, but i've since sat with her on the balcony mid-storm, holding her and patting her to calm her, and her fear is now gone (unless a particularly close lightning strike occurs, then we both shit ourselves, as expected)
