To be completely honest, I held off doing a lot of Survival stuff because I just ASSUMED it would be extended because of all the maintaince that was very much needed. But I can only blame myself for making an assuption instead of commuincating T___T now I'll have to smooch extra next year to make up for it hehe
I got almost all the skins I wanted from this event, which is saying something since I came in way late (and that’s entirely on me!), but… for those of us who lost infections because they didn’t process in time… could we maybe get a reimbursement of some kind? If I knew the event was going to end in a day (vs the "days" we'd been previously told), I wouldn’t have spent the (I think) 250,000sp I ended up losing since my infection still had 40 hours left just to process and then start. I really don’t want to sound ungrateful, especially with all the bugs and issues and downtimes, but… it feels like those of us who lost out on infections (we didn't expect to waste) are kind of being ignored now...
But of course reading is fundamental.... looks like we have until next year to claim these... but the link sends to an Oops! Something went wrong page.
I was not able to claim the free skins because it kept telling me I had a current infection.... which was one that was still developing. UGH.
Thank you for all your hard work keeping this a fun event even with the wardrobe glitches, downtimes and forum challenges! Here's wishing y'all some well deserved rest after what must have been more than a few all-nighters!

I have been trying for hours to get to wardrobe to remove the skin I had and trying to claim the free ones and the page just kept giving me errors even before it ended

Is it 3 free skins including the option provided at the healer after the reset provided during the initial vanishing of strains at the very start of 2026 Survival failed?
I'm asking coz I redeemed a strain when it was announced as 2 free skins but after the news on top came, it still shows that I only have 1 free skin left to redeem.
I don't mean to sound ungrateful, but I was hoping for better compensation, particularly because of all the downtime, bugs, broken features (like flowers), and unclear wording. I would've much preferred an extension to the event with flowers fixed, or even a little csc or a gold acc medal for the days we could barely play without bugs, lag, or downtime. Still, please know I appreciate all the work that has gone into moving Subeta to better servers. I just believe the event should've been postponed during such an unstable time.

Oh. I'm fine with the event ending tonight but it's a little disappointing that the broken popup flowers were never fixed. Was hoping to get those achievements finished this year.

Thanks for the free skins, I will grab them when my current strain is finished. Due the downtime I will not be able to start a new one before the deadline. The end seems a bit sudden, but I guess the next event has to start soon. I have to admit, I always enjoy Survival, the strains look great, people are so nice at biting and kissing, but this year was riddled with so many bugs and annoyances, that it kinda damped the Survival experience. I appreciate the forum merger, though. I might have missed the kissing booths, but at least I was able to use the legacy forum to get bites!
thankyou so much i was afraid my virus wouldn't progress quick enoughto claim them but i also thought survival was supposed to end on the 16th and used the last few days with a 8 stage virus so I'm glad about the freebies
this is frustrating because certain strains took almost 4 days to finish because of the glitch when the site went down....
agreed. i got 2 free skins yesterday (idk if those counted i did it as soon as i saw the option because i thought there were a couple more days and maybe i have time for my last skin to earn) signed up for a 2017 skin, got infected, and then it just reset to the select a strain page and no option for a third or any free skins 🫠and whats the point of spending another 1.75 mil to start cryo over again if the event ends in just a few hours?

I don't want to seem ungrateful but since there was no official announcement about the two extra free infections being available, I just got them and started a new strain yesterday. Unless old infections (that take over 3 days to go through) are not affected by the sudden ending... it kinda seems like a slap in the face to announce such a sudden end.
honestly I agree with the others, this seems a very abrupt end to the event considering the site's been barely functional over the past week or so, even when it's been up it's been very laggy etc making it difficult to do much, plus I can't speak for everyone but I know I personally I have been holding off on doing too much on the site until I'm sure it's stabilized more etc... admittedly the end of the event doesn't affect me since I've done all I wanted to do, but it definitely sucks for everyone else :( I'd understand it if it was more of an emergency "the event's slamming the site too hard so we're gonna have to take it down early" situation but since it was said that it would be going for "a few days" that did make it sound like it was going to be extended...

Not to seem ungrateful for all the work you guys put in and i get it was VERY rough on Keith, but honestly saying a few more days and then suddenly its tonight is kind of a slap in the face, especially for users in different time zones. its 7:30 pm where i am and i still have stuff to do before bed, and not even sure i can get away with staying up late.. it would have been nice to have at least 24 hours notice instead of finding out this late. and what about the age regression, is that only for survival, or will it be available year round when we want a different stage of a skin we have? because tbh, if its only during survival then its kind of useless if for the rest of the year i'm just stuck with that part of the stage and cant change it for a certain outfit i want to do or something.
And I miss having the holiday schedule on the news page.
I got the last skin I didn't have so I have no skins to get for free unless the offer continues for 2027.

Sorry, maybe I didn't explain well.. as of 2026, I have ALL the strains, of all the years, so I don't have anything to collect right now, I am asking if next year I will be able to collect the 3 new 2027 strains for free?

Also I will be waiting to claim my skins until the site has stabilised, since we have a WHOLE YEAR to choose. I'd rather wait and avoid issues, then get them now and risk bugging it up causing Keith to have to do more fixes...
vials don't work, so guess I'm paying for my last skin I need. Kinda annoying I used the "free" options on newer skins, wish I hadn't
From the sounds of the state of the site behind the scenes, I think we're lucky Survival even continued at all. And geting THREE free skin on top of that? And I still got tons of Candy Hearts due to autopilots and the kissing booths. Honestly, it could've been a lot worse... :x
It doesn't seem to allow me to do this. I pick the strain, choose the stage ("mature instant") -> then get the notice to "conifrm" it, but when I hit confirm nothing happens. I've refreshed and tried several times. I've checked my skins in my wardrobe and nothing is updating there.
As far as I'm aware, , you should be able to pick any year for strains. 2026 show up for me!

this year, despite the mess, I was able to collect the remaining old strains that I needed, so will I be able to collect 3 free strains from Survival 2027?
question what happens if I reclaim a stage 3 skin, for example, in the meantime? the virus would advance normally like it will do on survival, or did I get that specific stage of the skin?

Excuse me for being acid, but couldn't you have informed this earlier too give folks time to calculate? Especially since the lag is still present and some users are experiencing trouble with stuck strains =/

Your post says we can claim three (3) infections, but when the page finally loaded for me, it said I can claim two (2), and after I claimed one (1) it said I have none left? Am I missing something?
