THE SNOW STORM HAS HIT. HOPE YOU HAVE PREPARED!

And by prepared, we mean get your snow gear out and throw some snowballs. Each snowball you throw counts as 5 snowballs for the "Throw a Snowball" achievement! You can purchase snowballs here.

Please read the entire post before asking questions in the comments.

All quests have been reset.

🌨️ Maleria may hate winter, but she does enjoy warm food. Do her quests and you have a chance at past Luminaire holiday shop items as well as Fireside foods! 🌨️ Cinthia will have the chance to spread joy with old melody items as potential quest prizes!

The Seasonal Quest Shop and Millionaire Center are currently set for winter. Enjoy!

You are not guaranteed to get one of these items a quest. It is just a chance!

There are 8 "new" items in the Crystal Shop!

The Token Shop will be restocking randomly throughout the snowstorm. So check back for treats. The only item that will consistently restock will be the newest item to the site, the Candy Cane Lane Sign!

With CSC, you can now purchase 5 more pet slots. More opportunities to play pet favorites!

Make sure to layer up so you can challenge Hoarfrost, Snow Goons, Jackalope, and more!

PSA: If you ever intend to complete the snowball achievement, take advantage of 5 for 1 now. Before this news release, I had 450 snowballs thrown. I just completed 30,000 thrown! gave good advice in the previous news comments. Have a 1/2 size window open for buying and a 1/2 size window open for throwing. Keep them both open next to each other. I bought the same type of snowball, then I typed my username to 'throw at'. I refreshed the thrown page after buying a snowball and didn't even have to select the snowball or the person to toss it at. The same snowball was tossed at me every time. There is a five second restriction between throwing, but it went pretty fast. Good luck!

As much as I enjoy the fun snowball overlays (Spiky Snowball is one of my top favorites with the screaming anime-style facial expression), the Snowtapult's long track record of broken overlays really takes away its purpose. I'm trying to get the snowball achievement, but it feels like I'm just throwing avatar-breakers at people and it's sad.

I also remember the good ole days when you could layer 2 or 3 snowball overlays at once, I loved getting my favorites reflected back onto myself and making a goofy setup (imagine if you will, a top hat and mustache at once).

i need roughly 5,775 snowballs to reach the highest tier of the achievement. (this is taking the '1 counts as 5' thing into consideration.) i don't suppose there will ever be an option to buy multiple at once? even a 10 pack would be helpful. haha

also, it's a little odd that maleria is the one passing out retired food and not pete.

but those are just nitpicks. thanks for the event!

Looks like the HAs are back. And I love the Icy Snowballs, they make a pretty ice crown. In case someone missed it, here's a tip for snowballs - make two 1/2 size windows side by side, buy in 1 & toss in the other. Goes faster that way. Good luck to all. :D
