There's a forecast of snow later this month, starting on July 11. Could Aspen be behind it?

Things to look forward to ❄ Winter challengers appearing for a short time! ❄ Winter/Luminaire item restocks in places like the Token Shop and Crystal Shop! ❄ A Cash Shop sale! ❄ Snowball throwing will open and each snowball thrown will be worth 5 throws toward the "Throw a Snowball" achievement! Hopefully, that helps you get a little closer to finishing that (rude) achievement. ❄ and more!!!

There will be a news post on July 10 giving more details about the Cash Shop sale, like what will be included, and the timing for the snowy festivities.

I am going to LOVE this since I live in New Mexico and it's hit 100+ degrees outside here. <3 Thank you guys for doing this for us!! Especially for those of us that live with hot weather for much of the year.

We would LOVE snow! It's 99 degrees where I live. :( I got the snowball achievement but here's a tip for those who still need it - I had 2 windows open side by side buying in 1 & tossing in the other. works great. Good luck to you all. Need some of the winter books so hope they stock. Thanks. :)

You can hide it on the first layer. It might not be 100% but it reduces it by a lot.

I got to the final tier 1:1 per snowball but having it 1:5 for others right now does not honestly bother me. c: yes it might be a little unfair for those of us who did the whole achievement 1:1 but really anything to make it less brutal for others is a win to me! It is ridiculously hard and a horrible achievement to have to earn - especially if you don’t have hours to spend, and nobody to help you. I was fortunate to have had help or i otherwise wouldn’t have been able to do it - so hopefully i can help others with it when the emporium opens if they still need.

The only reason why I don't throw snowballs myself is because I don't like getting them thrown at me since I don't want them appearing on my HA, and I'd be a hypocrite if I still threw them. Unless you've decided to add the "throw at an NPC" option that I've heard was being considered. Then I'd be more inclined.

Christmas in July is so cute T__T and that achievement boost is huge, I love that!! I have never been good about remembering to throw snowballs (not sure why) and that will certainly give me extra motivation

Great, I'll have to remember to put the shield on. Unless you've changed it so that snowballs no longer show up on the HA, or you can toggle it.

I just hit 10k snowballs the last time. I calculated if I throw 1k each year (which is about the amount before I get really fed up with it), it takes me another 20 years to get the final achievement... This will help. A little, lol. XD
