We also just had some other items added to the Battle Shop back in September so the other levels certainly aren’t being neglected.

This item is a great addition for those of us who battle. Generally there are fewer options to choose from in higher tiers and tons of options in the lower ones, so I’m always glad to see more powerful weapons added.

I mean yes we will have new items in other shops, . If a new item goes to the Battle Shop, it won't be anywhere else though. It's like me adding something to the Token Shop or Blue Building. Different currencies for different places and they stay in that place. The questionable one is Crystal Shop, it uses crystals but some of the items are retired from restocking or other places. :x

The whole point of adding things to various places around the site, like battle shop or blue building, is so people have goals to work towards without them being too easy. If you aren't really into battling you have two options to get this item: get it from another user (trade or by from shops) or start working on your battle pet. With potentially more items being added to the Battle Shop, more users might get into battling which is great for us! More user activity is always a positive.

Same, especially since I'm more interested in having it as a wearable. Why do so many hard-to-get weapons also have to be wearables that looks so good?

Although if I ever reached the appropriate tier, I'd find it useful as a weapon as well.

It’s also got a rotating defense of: :block:light:85 :block:water:40 :block:wind:40 or :block:light:40 :block:water:85 :block:wind:40 or :block:light:40 :block:water:40 :block:wind:85

and boosts defense by 50 each turn

Worth buying, in my opinion!
