I finished the achievement this morning and the border is still locked. Refreshing or changing the border doesn't help nor does fiddling with the achievements.

I also thought it would take me D A Y S to get this, but I finally realized that the items don't have to be fed all to one pet, hooray!! I'm not used to feeding pets (yeay for the resort) or doing achievements so I learned something here.
