I went to the comments to ask which countries have the combination (orange + chocolate) as a wintery or christmassy candy. This has already been commented on I see :) Where I live, Sweden, many thinks clementines smells like December. So yeah the orange coloured citruses are something very wintery.

Oranges are a traditional Christmas gift in a good chunk of the Northern hemisphere. An orange in your stocking, because they were expensive imports and also valuable to eat over winter to protect from scurvy. The Terry's chocolate orange was originally a Christmas thing, possibly still is depending on where you are, but a lot of holiday candies have become things you can get year-round now, like Cadbury eggs.

Dude, I'd love to have one irl but my lactose intolerance has gotten worse so I can't eat anything with dairy. (and I hate dark chocolate)

I have to live through my pet instead. Son Goku says: "You call that food?" Ok, maybe not...lol

ive seen them year round on sale but ive absolutely seen them marketed as the perfect stocking stuffer type of present, plus theres usually decent sales on them around this time of year and fun flavours (like white chocolate ones, dark chocolate ones and regular milk choc but with popping candy inside them).
