omg we do! The legacy name tripped me up; yours has spaces. I thought it was just how the font was; I had to copy and paste it to see the spaces between the hyphens hahaha. Trick-or-Treat is not spooked tho, he tricks people into going into the middle of nowhere and then eats them as his treat because he's mean. He will not be offering any of his candy, but I will!

Trick-or-Treat is ready for new TC items as always. I don't necessarily mind the shorter holiday because there are always so many items in just that aspect that I'm usually having to buy what I didn't get once Morostide is over anyway. I'm always happy with whatever amount; I'm sure by this point my active has one of the largest TCs on the site and it grows every year lmao In just a few more years it will be at 3k+ items.

I don't celebrate in-real-life Halloween anymore, but I love Morostide on here because of all the fun baddies that show up to fight my growing army of pets each year. I love that there's usually many opponents during this time, and hope that doesn't change but could definitely use more than 8 days to fight them. After all, that's an XP raise for all 23 of my furry pals if I can get that far. Not super concerned with items, although going into the pumpkin patch is still fun. Maybe it's the anticipation of getting a mystery item or even cooler in some cases, book!

Please change the end date of Morostide to AFTER October 31st. I have no doubt that I'm not alone in wishing the holiday end later as actual IRL Halloween is busy with events, handing out candy, etc.

yeah it's definitely noticeable that while we don't get as many items as we used to, what we do get are items that are a lot more usable and much better quality on the art :D I might tweak the page to show the average just on the last 4 or 5 years as well, given that'd be a much more accurate date :) (and doing a set number of years for my averages would take out the Friday 13th start in 2017 too as that's throwing things out a bit!)

While that is very cool to see, , you have to take into consideration other factors than just start date. A lot of those earlier years when we started on the 15th or so, we had a bigger art team (some of those people worked faster than others too and could get LOTS of things done in a short time) so having those back-to-back holidays sucked but we had the team to sort of divide and conquer better. You'll also notice those years we put out more items, too. It's def been like a past 4 year (at least) thing of smaller quantity, higher quality for most holidays.

Woo hoo I can't wait. My favourite event. Also the best battle challengers...one can never have enough Shreik's and every year the tot prizes are better than the last. Can't believe as a middle aged adult, this event is my October highlight, thanks Subeta for still being around.

Yeah, that's why I worry about it starting late and why I keep saying I hope we stil lget at least 12 days, since staff are usually so insistent on ending it on the 31st, but if it's starting later than the 18th or 19th this year then I hope they do extend it a few days past then. Same with Keel Hauliday starting a few days late but still ending on 30th September. At least this time they still had it last its average length since it started 10 days later.

Although Morostide has an average start date of October 16th ok I admit it, I was bored and made a page of all the event average start dates (link), I'd rather it was started a little later than 'normal' if that means all the artwork is sorted first! And as KeelHauliday started late, it's only natural for Morostide to be a little later as well :)

It'll be starting before Monday. :) Ideally by the end of this week, but not giving specific time/date just in case something happens! Again, def look at previous years (you can check the news archive). The dates are roughly around this time of year but never solidly same day. The reason for this is there are a lot of items along with other art (hello zapper skins) to get done for the initial release, especially on the back of the pirates. We've already discussed as a team having the Freyalise come earlier in the year rather than sticking to speaks like a pirate day to give some breather and potentially get Morostide out earlier in the future!

There is no set amount of days for Morostide. Just looking at the past few years, we've had times where it started on the 19th, 13th (when it landed on a Friday), 18th, and others. Only ToT has a second wave of items, so Pumpkin Patch you'll know what you need from the start. With ToT, I'll be adjusting it too so that for the second wave you'll have a smaller pool of items to pull from (mostly this year maybe some expensive from last). :) Even if you don't have that many days for the holiday, we will do what we can so people can get a good chunk of items.
