it's not that i necessarily want new pets/colors to be CS exclusive, but that is by far the most exciting option to me. much as i love wearables, we have A LOT—and this is a pet site at its core, so it would be absolutely delightful to see resources put toward new content in that arena.

I would've preferred to vote for battle additions, yet I voted on my second-favourite option instead: pets. Paying for challengers and weapons just feels bad: battle items affect how much content (challengers) and what functionality (equipment) you get to make use of, whereas other paid stuff is, to my knowledge, purely cosmetic.

Regardless of the difference outlined above, delivering opponents and gear in this manner is unattractive: — If they're difficult fights for endgame pets, people with only low-tier pets will be playing catchup for months before they can stand a chance of doing them. Having goals to look forward to is fine on an individual basis, but you're likely missing out on many potential buyers; — If they're targeted at low-/mid-tier pets, people with higher-tier pets will need to have weaker pets and/or a big win streak against the opponent before the challenger gets interesting (if it ever does). Again, the interested crowd is very fractured compared to those for pet/avatar cosmetics and collectibles; — Regardless of the previous two scenarios, any unique and/or good pieces of equipment gated behind these paid challengers (or buyable from the CSC shop outright) stand the chance of disturbing the balancing of regular progression (this goes doubly so for scrolls due to their lack of tier requirements). If they end up being truly great, those not able or willing to spend CSC on them will be at the mercy of those who sell copies for sP to remain cutting-edge.

The annoying part is that I don't have a good solution for this due to how simplistic the presentation of battles on Subeta is. My first choice, cosmetics for gear and combat effects, immediately goes out of the window.

Buying items that unlock the acquisition of new cosmetics in the Battle Shop bought with high-tier tokens could work for avid battlers: you'd use the CSC item you just purchased to permanently add a new entry to your Battle Shop's stock, then be able to buy (and sell) as many copies as your token reserves would allow. This would add further incentive to battling, create a new economy branch, and maybe spawn a new battle-locked, battle-themed pet colour. Warscarred? Veteran? Rugged? Ironclad? Something like that. This second possibility might be inelegant, and my comparative inexperience with battling may not be letting me see glaring design issues brought about by giving battle tokens new uses.

Everything else I can think up affects functionality and is thus a no-go: — Stat-reset consumable (would likely obliterate the market value of leeches); — Stat boosters (the most blatant pay2win imaginable); — Autotraining (already exists, though it's lamentable that it loses value the more you level);— Unlocking multiple saved stat distributions per pet (lowered incentive to level more than one pet, and it impacts the book, booster, and leech economies).

Would be happy to see it all but the battle items are the least interesting to me because they are so expensive and I need multiples. It is always fun to see a new pet color but I have no ideas. Books books and more books will always make me happy even though I usually want multiples because they are much more affordable. Except for the one I want most the entire Research series for multiple pets. Aaaah why? Until I see a big discount on the research series I'm most likely to buy a revamped Trunk, new Trunk or some Vanity. Love the Vanity shoes.

If you do revamp Trunks Please do not change the size of the Centaur and Centaurette shoes I hate they revamp on the Horseshoes more than any other revamp on site. Beautiful art but the proportions with the tiny feet look so wrong to me and they were one of my favorite items so it was really upsetting to see them looking that way. I don't think I even commented when the revamp was announced because I couldn't think of a good way to say what I thought of them.

Overall the art and items that have been released over the last few years has been beautiful. Even stuff I didn't care for as much because its not a style I put on my HA has usually had an item or two that I wishlist. Wish there were more masculine items overall but especially for creating faces (eyes, lips, ect.) with various expressions. Definitely would love to see, although I guess it's less CS and more subscription-based, challengers like the Bewitched Bookcase but for different items like gourmet food, beanbags, plushies, and so on.

oh! glad the Vanity sets and costume trunks are right there as one of the most voted. avatar addicts unite, haha. ;D we can always have more wearables :) also YES! some themed revamps would be great! (for example, the box of pastries backdrop is one of the best tbh, and it was redone. kudos af to the artist <3)

Costume Trunks/ Vanity sets / recolor CW items/ pet species or colors :x Those are my choices if we could pick more than one but sadly we need to chose one so... I chose recolors, ESPACIALLY wigs. To be able to have a wig that you like and you can change it colors is great for me. :) New Costume Trunks is also great.

As someone who tries to do and collect everything on here, this was a tough choice! My first thought was wearable backgrounds because CS backgrounds are always amazing and I always buy them. But that's not one of the options. So then I thought battle, but we do already get quite a bit of battle content from the CS so I'm not sure we need more on top of the regular releases. So I ended up going with costume trunks - especially because it mentions revamps - because there are lots of items already onsite that would be amazing if they got spruced up but they're not really usable now. And if the theme appeals to me, I'd probably splurge on new trunks too.

Seriously though, more backgrounds. I will buy them.

Themed sets are based on the tab in the cash shop for themed sets (or the chance machine where themed set items go to live after). Generally they the items are based off a minion in the set. Collection items are like plushies, beanbags, stickers, things like that! Coordinating sets are link vanity sets where it's a small amount of items (4? 5?) that match but also work with other clothing really easily. Trunks are based off what we have already like the feral trunk (animal parts) or morostide makeup (makeup!).

In your case, if you want backgrounds/foregrounds I'd go for more recolors. The overlays of those adopt-a-SPECIES kits aren't ... the same as the others but they all fit together? It's an interesting thing to think about!

Backgrounds. Definitely more Backgrounds (and foregrounds?) But am wondering, would that fall under Themed Sets, collection items, coordinating sets, or Trunks? (I think I've seen them in all, but I'm not sure. ...and want to make sure my vote would count in a way that would lean toward backgrounds at least.) Thank you for any insight! ^^ < 3

I remember when those pet based challengers came out and then weren't pets. I learned a couple of weeks ago (seriously TY for adding the unlocks verbiage to items, btw, missing quite a lot of them) that apparently I stopped buying that run of challengers because of it |D!

i voted for the vanity-esque sets because those are my favorite thing to splurge on, but tbh i'm kind of wishing i had voted for costume trunks now. i agree with everyone here; i would LOVE.. like really really LOVE to see the older trunks updated with newer art!! + a new trunk could be exciting too. i think i would love trunk revamps more than anything though. there are a LOT i have never purchased that i know i would if updated ; 0 ;

voted for pets, i'd love to see some new colors or species, and as much as i would love for them to be non cash shop, having another exclusive color/pet in there wouldnt be the worst, especially if its between having no new colors/pets for a while and getting new ones but through the cash shop

but i will chime in as well, i would also love to see more colors for existing pets, especially the newer pets, my bias is of course for bhakorus and uurubus hehe

also i will put this energy into the world, even if staff is tired of hearing it... i would still kill for a full pylot pet and/or full sweety dead color 🥺

Oh, yeah. The ideas that have popped around for a potential new color aren't recolor based. :) As far as the weapon, yes. I think I said further down (or somewhere), we're not trying to make this a P2W type thing so no flooding the cash shop with lots of weapons and boosters etc.

More challengers, really. I didn't want to leave battle out of the list when I was covering every area possible!

Understandable. It never hurts to at least throw the ideas out there, though. Going very specific might lower the odds of what will get done, but something a bit broader or something with references will def help!

In this case, coordinating sets refer to Vanity with how they are smaller sets that work together well but are clear staples and can be used easily with other clothing items. This makes it a lot easier for our artists to do a few sets compared to Delish which has a lot of items all on one theme that are harder to match sometimes with general clothing (very high fashion a lot of that!!)

Honestly there are so many creative old trunks that getting the breath of fresh air in them would be fun.

No. If you don't feel they are worth that price point then you can buy the item you need from user shops or wait until they (maybe) pop up in the Hustler.

If you have some suggestions, hit up the forums my friend!!! I know does pop culture dives every year for say the rag dolls for Morostide but sometimes even across the Americans on staff we're like WAIT IS THAT POPULAR IN THE PART OF THE INTERNET YOU ARE ON???

Costume trunks all day, every day. Multiple new items in every trunk. There are a ton of new movies, tv shows and books to pull ideas from since the last costume trunks and the idea of revamps of the older ones sound like a dream come true.

I want all the things though. I did vote for the "More coordinating sets like Vanity" but want to note that I'd love to see something that's inspired by pop culture. I may be very off the mark, but pop culture tends to do well.

I know the SubQ Giselle set does music artist/song + Disney, and trunks/boxes/bags often do movie/show references. This muddies the waters a bit with those but I'm sure it'd still be fun.

I voted for more Vanity sets because I love seeing new wearables, but honestly I was REALLY torn between that, and themed sets/collections (some absolutely beautiful themes have come out in the last few years), and seeing more revamps of the trunks. The ones that have been revamped are so good! And the older ones are so outdated, they don't get to be enjoyed as much as items with newer art.

Unfortunately it's a double edged sword as a CW artist. I can give my ideas and concepts away to staff for a minor chance to have them be made, possibly not even in a way I end up liking... or I just make it myself and then unfortunately it's probably got a higher price tag because it'll be a CW. sad shrug

Even though I am a battler, I feel like we do already have a lot of CS battle content. There are so many challengers to unlock already, I dunno what else to really add to what already exists unless it's like boosters (which we already also have some of) or more weapons (which may not actually feel like they're worth it for some people).
