Congrats! Wow depressing, but quite true for the most part. Thank goodness for all the things like love for family that makes life worthwhile and mitigates the darkness of depression. :)

Feeling this story in the marrow of my bones. There's a short animation on Youtube called "Happiness" by Steve Cutts. If you have the time you might want to check it out. It's an allegory for the rat race, the corporatocracy and a broken system that centers our happiness and self worth around material things. Good stuff.
