The glade aeanoid has been repotted and given a new kind of plant food, and seems to be thriving on it! It's much more at home now alongside some fellow carnivorous plant friends. Although it also seems hungrier too. Is that a paper cut on your finger? Probably pat the over-friendly plant with your other hand.

THIS IS SO PRECIOUS ;; I'm so glad aeanoids are finally getting love!! they're one of my fave species but the old art is... well... old... but the old art also has bad memories for me đŸ˜ so seeing the updated art makes my heart warm!!!
A much needed and welcomed change, will we get revamps for the other aeanoid colors that are otudated?

I saw the news post and my gut reaction was 'but the glade color isn't old enough for-.....wait...its been a long time hasn't it.'
(The new design is lovely lol I just had a momentary 'wow I'm getting old' moment.)

Sense this is my favorite species, I am hoping for a redesign on its common pose colors, along with Cherry, Silver, Aqua, and Vibrant variants.

I'm really gonna miss the leaf hands and I'm a bit confused that the neck seems to be attached where the right eye goes, but I do really love the new flora and ESPECIALLY love the added weight of the roots. they look really good, and also the added heft gives a more balanced body, even with the more chibi-ified head. great to see this species getting an artist! :D

Not fond of the larger eyes a lot of the revamps are getting. (I used to be HUGE into buying plush animals but pretty much stopped in the mid 2000's when they started getting larger eyes.) That's just a big ol NO from me.
I do like the newer fauna on the glade aeanoid's lower body though. Much more vibrant. Love the pitcher plants and venus flytraps Not so fond of other things though, like taking away of the arm mushrooms, the new head decorations, or the new dragonflies. Preferred the old spikes & clarity of the grass.

I prefer the more realistic, yet still cartoony art style of the older piece, especially in regards to the leaf hands and the sharp teeth. With that said, the new piece is an objective improvement: the purplish plants by the roots are fewer but bigger and more vivid now, making the eye colour more-visibly represented across the whole body and balancing out the viewer's focus of the image; the new, varied decorations make the Aeanoid feel more like its own little ecosystem; and the overall art quality has definitely gone up. Special shout-out to the volume and depth added by the more-defined body curvature and skin texture respectively.
