We hope you like bugs because Bug Catching is back for the rest of Summer! Just be careful with these new bug friends, they can be pretty dangerous.

Bug Catching will end on September 23.

I've been curious about this myself too so I finally looked it up on subetalodge (sorting Item Type by minions , and Notes "bug catching") and it shows 90 total. I just wonder if we need all in existence for the achievement or just the current year's. (Not that I'm huge into achievements, just curious.)

Just visit bug catching daily or wait for people to have them in shops. You can catch one per day.

You get to keep the bugs you find and if you show her all the bugs, you'll get an achievement.

I was wondering if those dang lanternflies would show up this year. I keep seeing them crawling outside my windows, taunting me, knowing I can't get at them.

Was hoping for some spiders this year just because I'm a little obsessed with spiders, but these are all great choices!

Woot! Bug catching was still going on when I joined last year. It was so much fun and I've been looking forward to it coming back : D (I took it for granted back then not knowing it was seasonal.)

You can find them all over the site. Like the various lands of Subeta. Just gotta keep an eye out on every page you visit as they show up like floating items. (Think the flowers from Vesnali)

If you can't find a bug (after a long time searchin'), you can always buy one from user shops and show her. She doesn't know the difference between bug you found "in the wild" and store bought ;)
