While the Masquerade might end Sunday evening, the fierce Panzer Hydra will be available for you to battle until 11:59pm on June 18.

You can find the Panzer Hydra in the event tab.

I just tried to use but I got the error message "You can not unlock the Panzer Hydra outside of the Masquerade Holiday!"

It's kinda ridiculous that we can battle the Panzer Hydra until June 18th, but can't unlock the next tier till June 18th... the news post should have specified that you can only unlock until the end of Masquarade since not everyone is active on the weekends...

It seems strange that my pet has beaten the first four panzers 10-12 times each and yet the 5th panzer isn't unlocked. I only realized there was a 5th challenger because a friend was telling me they were having trouble with the 5th one. 😳

It looks like you've already gotten the first achievement. You would have been awarded a Brass Panzer Hydra Medal to unlock the next tier.

If there's a general amount of times you gotta beat em its too many for me, I already fought him over 100 times and havent gotten an achievement.

Last year, my main battle pet Sungod could barely scratch the paint on the five-head Hydra. This year, though? He smashed it 10 times with ease. Now, we can't touch the seven-head one right now, but I bet by next time.... :D

If you go here you'll be able to see the achievements that list what you have to do to get each level. The items you receive from them are what unlock the challengers. The item descriptions also help!

Everyone should have the first one available! This challenger works a little differently where you unlock the next stage after so many wins you unlock the achievements that give you the item to unlock the next stage!
