Great pet. My grandmother was diagnosed with type 1, after injury. I grew up watching her take shots and pin pricks frequently. She had an upbeat attitude about it, but it caused so many problems for her. It's good for people to understand that this disease can be diagnosed later in life.
this is a good pet right here yes sir
Oh my gosh! Thank you all so much. I do hope that it can help people. Thanks so much!!
Very well written and informative, congratulations on the win!
Such a beautiful and important message
Very, very well put together! Congrats so much on your win!
DKA sucks butt! I'm a type 1 diabetic myself! Congratulations on the win!
For those how don't know DKA stands for Diabetic ketoacidosis. Please read this pet's page! I love it!

Congrats! Nice pet and profile. This is very informative and interesting. My first husband had it and they were treating him for Colitis. (Awhile before we met.) They didn't have a clue what was wrong until he went into a coma and someone decided oh, maybe we should test his blood sugar - only the simplest easiest most conclusive test there is! His doctor should have been shot. But that was a long time ago, and things are far better now and these tests are routine. Usually it is caught early too. I have T2d myself, and I take insulin as well. Best wishes for you and your health! :)
Great pet and great cause to raise awareness for (:
Great page and a good choice to feature this one, it's important that people understand how serious diabetes can actually be. (Also, the minion "My Pancreas the Brokd" made me lol irl xD I feel you.)
