CW Pawn Shop: Open!

The Custom Wearable Pawn Shop is now open! You have until 11:59pm on May 14 to grab items before the shop closes.

Just a reminder, you can not pawn custom wearables while the CW Pawn Shop is open. You'll have to wait until next week to do so.

Note: If you are looking for wigs, check 'head' instead of 'hair. We're aware they're categorized wrong and will likely not be able to fix it before the shop closes! We are also aware there is an issue where not all CWs are showing (there aren't blank pages, that isn't the issue). If does not get a chance to fix this before the shop closes on Sunday, we will figure something out in terms of reopening or extending the shop. More information to come!

Yes I understand that these are "used" CWs and staff aren't going to add any, when I asked if any would be added I meant what they said about fixing whatever the glitch is to get more to show up. Thanks.

Well, I've spent my last CSC and I'm broke now xD but I don't regret it at all! What I like about the pawn shop is that in addition to being able to put my hands on cw that I have in my WL, I always find a bunch more that I didn't know and I end up buying them without hesitation, and those are usually the ones that I like the most in the end. Short answer: No.

All the CWs in the pawn shop are ones that have been pawned by other users, so when the pawn shop opens, it just shows whatever has been pawned. Staff doesn't add items, and items don't show up in waves or anything. There is currently a bug, as explained in the edit to this news post, where not all CWs are showing up (for instance, any items with a teal star instead of a gold one are not showing up for some reason). This is going to be fixed eventually, so technically (assuming the current opening just gets extended or something rather than closed + reopened after the fix) "new" items would show up then. Still just items that other users have chosen to pawn though.

Not complaining, just very disappointed that not a single WL item is in the shop. Maybe next time. Surprised at how short the list for some of the layers is.

Every CW with a blue/teal star are all of the CW's that have been approved onsite since they did the CW changes 3 years ago. Meaning, every blue star CW that has been pawned in the last 3 years has never showed up in any pawn opening. There's about 50-60 pages worth of new (aka blue star cws) that are stuck in there. There are lots of hidden treasures in there that are stuck, we want to see those hidden treasures lol.

It will also probably help the site immensely if these CW's were released to where they can be purchased. Means more money for Subeta!

people are mad at there not being more items and mad at the fact they bought things they wanted...? there's so much cool stuff for less than $3 a pop though?? I had 3k CSC to start and I wish I had more because there's literal pages of things I want, even things I didn't know about before, and I'm always astounded to find really nice items there that can be used for a multitude of outfits! People can be super creative with the things they make and the art is so lovely on so many wearables, I don't know how y'all don't get lost in the pawn shop for hours like I do.

UPDATE: I've done a lot of searching as to what could be happening between showing the different color stars (which is something I also had to have explained to me). From what I can tell with the code, it's not really pulled on by CW categories, more layers + rarity. I've searched every place (and more) to see what could be the problem as well as checked CWs added at different times and can not for the life of me find a common thread. I've put all my findings in a message to Keith, who is currently sick.

If he doesn't get a chance to look at the shop before the close date, I do have some backup plans. It could mean extending the shop or opening later this month. It depends on what he says and his health!

let me clarify: the items I purchased aren't a "waste," per say, but I may not have picked them over newer, morely sought after CWs. I mean, have you seen my priority lists?! They're rather long and there are so many body mods I'm after as well i would've preferred over some of the items I've gotten today.

It might behoove you guys to look into the issue with lack of blue star CWs. This one and the last one had nothing but gold star stuff? There is absolutely no way blue star stuff should not be showing up over the last two CW pawn shops.

22,128/63360 CWs on site are blue stars… but somehow not a single CW in the pawn shop is blue star… this… doesn’t make any sense. Can this please be looked into? Maybe the blank pages finally make sense.
