It's kind of a bit bittersweet seeing him get his pet spotlight today, as I'm missing him like crazy! But it's nice to see everyone's comments (and also how popular budgies have been as pets - over here they seemed to fall out of favour and be a lot less popular)

Congrats! I love this profile and tribute. The story and pictures are well done. Beautiful bird. Such a shame he died so soon. By the way, there was one typo I noticed. "do I pick the gark green" should be "do I pick the dark green".

Adorable burb boy! May he rest in peace. I had a blue and white budgie called Alexa and by god I loved her! She loved to perch on my glasses while I was on my computer and would groom my hair while silently chirping to herself. She died in 2020 and I miss her dearly. ;-;

Today I Learned: English and American budgies are a thing due to how often they have been bred overseas. I'm Australian and grew up with them flying wild. Lovely profile.
