January Challengers! January Subscription Item!

Friendly challengers are back! Each month, an NPC will join the normal tab of the Battle Coliseum for you to battle. This month is Bibi and Lilah; you might recognize them from the Balloon Hunt at Delphi Carnival.

The friendly challengers this year will not disappear after their month finishes - so you have plenty of time to defeat Bibi and Lilah.

We're also back to having a new monthly Cash Shop challenger. You can unlock the challenger Gardak using the Garnet Embedded Clay Figurine from the Cash Shop.

Next year, these challengers will show up in the Cash Shop in the month they were released. For now, though, they will stick around until the next month's challenger release! So if you aren't able to get the Garnet Embedded Clay Figurine before the next Cash Shop Challenger, you'll have to wait until next January.

We've changed the special item for our Subscription Quester, Councilor, and Goddess plans. We will be changing this special item slot every month.

No. The subscription item is like always, it's just the day that it happened to change over so I put it all in one news post. :) Like it says in the news post, they will come back in the month they were released (so Gardak will come back next January). Once you unlock the cash shop challenger, it is yours. :) There is no need to go hunting them down this time, that's why it's a Normal challenger. [@-HyperBlossom-] They aren't going to disappear after the month, that's why they aren't in their own tab!

Once you buy a Cash Shop challenger and unlock it, it's there for you to fight for the lifetime of your account. :)

Dude it's been so long since they done a Friendly challengers I forget how the site works!! I see them now.

Though they use to get a new tab for Friendly challengers. Guess I was wrong :p

The change in subscription item is the - the challengers have nothing to do with subscriptions. The cash shop challenger is something that still must be purchased.

- I'm a little confused. lol Are you saying that with the change in the subscription plan to now include the Battle Opponent, we will get the month's challenger, or do we still need to purchase it from the Cash Shop?

Quick question, the cash shop challengers, are they permanent challengers or do they last a limited time?

If they last a limited time, let's say I purchase the Gardak one this year, will I need to purchase him again next January if I want to challenge him again?

It will come back this year! We just maaaaay have another winter challenger with it. TBD. Again, I can't say it's all cash shop challengers, just this specific years themed ones. Old ones aren't going to be reset to fit this.
