Start your year off with a game or two with these new items!
The items originally slated for Mysterious Melody 2021 have been added to the New Year Shop in the 2023 tab.
You can earn New Year Tokens by completing your daily quests or by random event. These will stop going out at 11:59pm on January 15.
These tokens have been going out since midnight, so don't worry if you did quests before this post!
I'm super disappointed that the Mini Cube isn't transparent over the avatar base. :( And the tokens are not really dropping for me, I've found one.
Aw mannnn I was hoping that gelatinous cube would be transparent. One ate (and killed) my D&D character once and I really wanted to put them in there lmaooo
I'm so tired and out of touch that I thought the token shop cut off was January 5th, and I'm so grateful that it isn't now that I've read this post with a well rested brain!
It's weird how low the random new year token drop rate seems to be compared to flowers.
well glad to know its not just me having horrible luck lol hopefully they adjust at least a little. i do all the quests but sarah and ive been getting an ok amount but new years shop is one of my biggest collections back log 🥲
I was giving it 24 hours before making this comment. I spent a lot of time doing quests and other ding-donging on the site yesterday. I got 4 total tokens by Random Event in 24 hours. That's super low, even lower than the Snow Fairy event (which was bad, I thought, at 8 average per day.)
is the random event chance for getting tokens really low or something? i swear i only got one all day yesterday

Huzzah! Thank you! My best guess was these were supposed to be panna cotta or some sort of self-saucing pudding. (My friend introduced me to semifreddo as well, which looks scrumptious.) The art looks absolutely scrumptious!

Since we are getting the boppers soon, I wish they would drop new year tokens. This is the only recurring holiday event you can't effort your way to all the currency you need. Another way to get them would be great!
