Let the Neugarten festivities begin!

To start things off, the Neugarten themed stalls are open! Visit Local Fresh Wholesome for any local made items as well as some delicious foods, Shanti has a stall full of sustainables, and as Rumi puts it “Still here, still vegan”.

Anne is once again running the Brewery so stop by for an Ale and some grub.

Which food truck are you most excited about? They're parked at Peka Park and will open later in the holiday! The Food Bowl is open, however, for you to throw in foods from the Food Market or Candy Shack. Be careful, you might just unlock the Frosting Beast challenger while throwing something in!

Neugarten will end at 11:59pm on August 7. At the end of the holiday, the stalls close once again until next year and the food trucks will disappear off into the sunset, so make sure to grab items from the various stalls while they’re available!

the food trucks are my favorite part of the event, and honestly I love the inclusion and celebration of veganism for this festival (proud and happy carnivore saying this, love you funky veggies and your creative food). that's truly the spirit of Neugarten-- not to push against new ways of thinking but to embrace them and bring them into your own traditions. as for favorite food trucks, I'm most looking forward to Veggikumora, Hippotu Spice, and OFC Meatasaurus XD

I was hoping for some new alcohol for my bartender pet Raloku, or some new meat for my meat eating pet Vixivian, or some new sweets for my sweet loving pet Rusalki. No luck, they already have everything from last year. :( I miss when this event was all about the meat and alcohol. Vegans should have gotten their own event xD Well here's to next year I suppose.

Yep, though it's also good to add them for collections to get achievements, like food, plushie etc. People like to collect stuff anyway.

I don't know if you're still having trouble, but I think the Frosting Beast should unlock randomly when tossing something into the food bowl.

Unless you've already unlocked it in a previous year, then it should already be available to you in the Event tab of the Battle Coliseum.

If any of y’all were here for a previous Food Fest or Neugarten, check the Events challenger tab on the Battle Opponents page to see if you already unlocked the Frosting Beast! I apparently already had it unlocked, so I kicked its butt and got a cute prize 😊

Not everyone's pets/characters are the animals ! Some use their pet(s) as a way to showcase a human character and those items may be interesting to them. So while it could be a cherry fester, the actual story is about Donna, a human hippy (no I don't think only hippies use those kinds of pads). Oh, and educational pets ! I've seen multiple pets dedicated to educating people on various subjects (viruses, sex ed, etc) and those would be great additives.

I've also had to use diapers for an old dog (grandpa's dog that I took in when he passed away) and if I'm remembering correctly those diapers aren't too off from what I used, sans a hole for the tail. So someone can use them, and argue that the hole is simply on the other side.

- I second the vote for Mint Chocolate anything.

- I considered that but got stuck on the notion of why a celinox or a yaherra would want or need menstrual products and diapers for humans, lol. Don't mind me, my disbelief resists being suspended more than I'd like it to.

Also kinda sad we don't have homemade Mint Chocolate Fudge and Homemade Orange Chocolate Fudge as well. A place I'd go on the way to Branson, MO, had a candy shop where they had homemade fudges there. We'd stop to get some to take with us, and I'd always get the Mint Chocolate Fudge and Orange Chocolate Fudge. :)

So IIRC the brewery was originally for Oktoberfest (called Alegarten on Subeta) but got added to Neugarten when they realized that there was an exhaustive onslaught of event/mini-events in the latter few months of the year (Alegarten, Keelhauliday, Morostide, Fireside, Luminaire).
