wow. this brought some real tears to my eyes. having been in a similar position with a dearly beloved cat, know that my heart is completely with you. i feel your pain and i'm so sorry for your loss. and you clearly do know this, but rest assured that he loved you as much as any creature could. you gave him the very best you could have given. he felt that love every day he was with you. nothing can take that connection away, not time, not death, not anything. i hope for your healing and your peace, friend. <3
