Thanks for posting comparisons !! :D Especially the old overlays.

I think the Feli Wand and shield lost a little something in the revamp, and not sure about the bomb either, something about its face doesn't feel right... LOVE the new expression but idk, there's just something there I can't quite put my finger on. Definitely an improvement overall though. The other new items are gorgeous, though I'll admit I'll miss the charmingly dorky old crowns ;)

Sigh. Just when I thought you guys were finally getting things right with the revamps, you give us... this.

Starting with the elemental rods: they look like downgrades in comparison with the originals. They're smaller, duller and look less interesting. It's nice that they've got wearable revamps and that there's finally left handed wands but I can't help but be drawn to the originals more when looking at them because of how vibrant they are in comparison.

Vampire Cloak: I'm of two minds on this one. On the one hand, it does seem sleeker and more usable than before, but we're still stuck with the cut out of the avatar and it's far less dynamic than before.

Heart Shield: Again, feels more like a downgrade and isn't so much a shield as much as a toy. I had hoped that if it was ever revamped, it would look more metallic/serious. Though I'll relent on the fact that this is mostly a preferential thing on my part, not necessarily a fault in the new design itself. I am sad that it's smaller/shorter tho.

The crowns: it's odd how Magical Fairy Crown and Crown of Bright Sunshine swapped crown poses in the wardrobe, but I'm not sure how the latter is an improvement. The MFC looks fine and I'm happy to have an off-center crown for that part of the head that's neither too small or bulbous, but the CoBS is unusable. It's far too large, impossible to use with wigs and lost it's magical aura (which I loved.) Granted, the aura was hard to use on dark backgrounds but this... slab of gold wasn't the solution, imo. At least it looks like the face can be covered with some CW's.

Sealed Scroll of White Magic: The only revamp I don't mind. I like having more magical auras and the item itself is inconsequential to it being wearable so no complaints.

Hipottu Battle Boot, Feli Wand & Flying Feli Bomb: I don't understand how desaturation = maturity because, to me, it just makes things look old, faded, aged. Great if you're going for a vintage/dead kind of look but crap if you're going for anything modern. I will say the FFB looks cuter, more dynamic and the wand looks more balanced, but that desaturation. T_T The wand could use an aura, as well but that's nitpicky.

This beautiful crown do not sits on the head properly, total offset, so disappointed. The back-side of Sealed Scroll of White Magic needs to fix there and I dislike the smiley on the crown. The wands are so adorable, but would be nice to go bigger little bit. The shield is 5/5 stars. Love it! The collar of a cloak is fantastic expect the rest of them needs to work... the whole work.

The bottom part of the crowns look weird, almost like they're twisted or something, but the overlays look good (which for me is more important), except the overlay for the Crown of Bright Sunshine has kind of a crooked bottom. Those are my only issues, nitpicks really. Everything looks great otherwise. Also that has got to be the cutest bomb I have ever seen. And I really like the overlays for the wands.

The wearables are lovely... but I also have to point out how awesome the item redraw of is! It's sooooo cute :D It would have been fun if the bomb was flying and showing its face in the wearable (cuz it's so adorable) but I get that it's a handheld.

Just the other day I was cleaning out my armory of low tier weapons and I removed a few of those wands. Shoved them in my vault "in case of revamps" and whaddaya know... :D They look great!

Look at that adorable new bomb! I will miss how dorky the Bright Sunshine crown item image used to be. 😂 But thank goodness for the new magical fairy crown. Old one was unusable.

Oh, I agree with the Battle Quest prizes pool. It would be nicer incentive to get retired (even if kinda useless) weapons that way. Sorry if my prior response seemed short, I hit submit too quickly. I'm happy to see that it was checked to make sure that even retired, they were still being generated for new players!

I love all of them! The shield has been quite dear to my heart because it was the first weapon I bought and thought it would be useful, haha. Wands are also delightful! Definitely makes me wanna look out for them!

retired or not, i think artists polishing up old items is always a good sign. attractive and cohesive art is a good look for newcomers and site geriatrics alike. that being said, i fear for some of my fav shittily drawn items on site....they took toy ghost from me, what's next? amy lee poster? endeavor egg salad?

Would it maybe also be possible to add those wands to the BQ random weapon prize fodder or something? Most of the weapons we get from that are kind of useless anyway, it could be another way to have them go out and keep the prices from being ridiculous.

There are ways to get retired items! Usually, when something like this is revamped, I make sure they can go out via the rift. Sometimes we unretire them, but almost always rift is tagged!
