The Hikei's head looks weird, and doesn't really... look much like a Hikei to me. The lineart looks... hurried. Which kind of sucks because I love Hikei and graveyard pets are my favorite. x.x Oh well.
The Wyllop is very nice however.

Hum.. well the Hikei is okay looking I think why I(in my own opinion) don't really like it is because it doesn't match the other subeta graveyard pets. None of the graveyard pets are colored like that I guess. It's like I don't know much about digital art but like the shading you can tell where it changes and stuff.
I also agree that the flies should stay as is but u_u; I still think the hikei should look more scary dead not cute dead [hence my "my little pony" comment] However Rajani I do love your art so please don't be offeneded! You're horse anatomy is always wonderful

I don't think the 'stripe' looks like paint. To me it seems more like a welt-type thing. Y'know, when you bump really hard on something and this big bump comes up on your skin? I had one that looked like the Hikei's when I ran into a chair...
And I personally like how simple the flies are. Too much detail would take away from the main focus, which is the luvvely Hikei itself.
The asymmetricalness of the Wyllop is making me squeal.

Ok, I concede the point about the flies, but if they are going to be that large then they need to be more detailed to look like flies.

The front half of the Hikei is a zebra, though, and it does have hooves, so I think that I'd have to agree on the legs point.

The flies were made purposefully big, since they were taking place of the orbs that are usually on the tail.
And as much as I wish the hikei was a horse, it isn't D: So I force myself to stay away from equine anatomy, especially when drawing a hikei's forelegs.
Eh, never been uber found of graveyard pets, but it's nice to see the Hikei as another color. <3

Yes, I will have to agree too. For one thing, it doesn't have that more creepy quality you see in most graveyard pets, like multiple shades of green/grey, and the hard black lines for the stitching. And once agin, I agree that 'scar' looks like a streak of paint. >: Sorry.
I agree the Hikei is not quit right, it looks flat and it doesnt seem shaded correctly, what is supposed to be a wound on the neck looks more like a line of paint or something, the flies dont look real enough and are way big compared to the hikei, especially since the hikei is drawn so large. See the Graveyard Feli, Kora, Dragon, Mortiking, Ruffie, Torrent, Velosotor, and Devonti for appropriate size flies. Oh, and horse legs dont bend quite like that when lying down.

The wyllop is major love though it looks like its doing the monster mash xD i have that song on CD so funny. (you have to of heard the song to understand my hysterics xDDDD)
Now i feel really guilty. I should never have said anything. I know hard the artists work and I want to apologise. You guys rock and this is my favorite site on the whole internet and your art is whole lot of the reason why.
Let me make myself perfectly clear I love the Subetan Artists and I know you work very hard and I am by no means criticizing the actual art work I probably would have never noticed had they had not been sitting side by side. I have been a huge fan literally and figuretively of Rajani since before we remet here and I really love Tsume's work as well.

You have to fit as much of the pose as you can in the canvas size given, Tracy. Take a look at the reborn hikei, which is also standing up, and you'll see what I mean.
Actually tracy the reason those were redon was because of the sketchiness of the linert, not because of the size of the pet. I understand the Wyllop is smaller, but its the canvas size.... plus the hikei is laying down versus the Wyllop standing up....
Why is the Hikei appears so much bigger than the Wallop wasn't this the same reasoning that took away the perfectly fine Graveyard Tigreans and Felis?
I realise all pets are 200 by 200 but these look loads different.
Now that has not a thing to do with the actual art work which is super as always after all can Subetan artists do anything but awesome art and Crazy the flys at the ends of the tail pure genious.

Not really liking the Wyllop... but that's more of a species thing. Haven't really warmed up to that pet yet.

I like the shading on the Hikei, so pretty, and the way you've mixed the green-ish skin with the grey skin is so nice.

I love the wyllop but i have a few problems with the Hikei.
For one thing its looks like a cut out and doesnt really match the other subeta pets. Its the Mane really that bugs me, its all 3D and stuff when the rest of it looks 2D
The mane looks stiff and unlife like.
That Wyllop makes me want one. Only in a different colour, since I already have a Graveyard pet.
But then, one must ask, why does that Wyllop in particular make you want one, Jacket?
It just does.
