Custom Wearable Sale Date Change!

Due to the site downtime last week, we have decided to give everyone a little extra time to prepare for the big CW Sale! The custom wearable sale will now begin this Sunday, December 12th. It will run through Thursday, December 16th. The CW Pawn Shop will still be opening up on Friday, December 17th and remain open for the weekend.

The sale will start early Sunday afternoon. You have until 8 AM on Sunday to get your CWs in the queue to guarantee they'll be reviewed in time for the sale!

Also! If you're into CWs and you're not a member already, be sure to join the Official CW Forum Group! I ping this group for things like schedule changes, event deadlines, brainstorming, and general announcements. It's a great way to keep up with all the current ongoings with CWs that aren't quite news post worthy!

"From December 19th through the 21st, the CW Pawn Shop will be open for buying!" This was the original announcement. So is it the 19th, or 17th? Please clarify? T_T I was looking forward to not being at work on opening day.. *sigh

What I'm saying is as a apology for the site lag they give people extra time for cws but not everyone one does that so not everyone who dealt with the lag really gets anything.

I am hopeing to catch something from my SS children in the pawn shop I am grateful the pawn shop is after the 15th, since BF really streched my wallet already.

I appreciate the heads up on this as I've been saving CSC to hopefully get 1 or 2 CW's. However, what I'd really like to know is when Mysterious Melody is going to open. We are headed towards 9 days into celebrating Luminaire and we still can't do Mysterious Melody.

So we're going to have a sale in shops THEN the pawn shop will open? How does that benefit anyone outside of shop owners? I think either the pawn shop should open first or be pushed back a month in order for this to be fairer for those who aren't drowning in CSC already.

"Into the queue" just refers to making sure they are uploaded for us to review and approve/deny. The place we do that is called the CW Queue. You can read more about it here: https://new.subeta.net/cws/help/intro

...haha I just realized it's because I was looking at the NOVEMBER calendar when I made the announcements of the dates! It was always planned to be the weekend after the sale, so the 17th-19th. I feel like an idiot. We can definitely keep it open a few extra days since I can't look at dates correctly :)

The original sale was announced on November 20th. However, I'd been having some issues with the CW queue around then (not letting me accepted items) and let everyone know if issues continued we'd make sure to delay the sale so everyone could participate and get their items in. When the site downtime happened and I couldn't even get into New Subeta, it seemed important to go ahead and push it back to be fair to everyone (including me - that queue is busy right now!)

I’m personally fine with the sail date change. There’s a lot of pressure on CW creators and I think it would be nice to have that extra time.

I would say it would be best to probably keep the pawn shop open until the 21st since that was on the initial post.
