Ahoy there me hearties! The Freyalise Trading Co. arrr back open fer business until the end o' th' month an' shiver me timbers are we ready t'party! Nay paint this time, th' port is lookin' just as ship-shape as a pirate port can look an' Babette's inn is back t' only havin' crude pictures painted on' toilet walls. An' w ye thought the briny deep be where th' adventure was! (Not if ye read th' walls o' stall two…)

Go visit that there blighter, Carl, if ye want t' hornswaggle our treasures in a way more befitting t' scallywags. Don't be surprised if young Brunhilde finds ye with one o' her almighty belches for th' trouble. Happy Plundering, mateys!

Translation: Hello friends! The Freyalise Trading Co. is back open for business until the end of the month and we're ready for a jolly good party. There's no paint to be found this time, Port Plunder is back to looking as wonderfully quaint as it always has, and even Babette's Inn has been renovated for the occasion, with fresh art in the water closets! And you thought the ocean was the place to be!

Remember to visit the distinguished gentleman Carl if you'd like a little help in locating some of our treasures, he's been generously giving them out via his quests. What a generous man. Maybe Brunhilde will find you and give you her own form of encouragement, the sweet young lady!

Last day... Carl spent the whole shoreleave so drunk, he probably didn't even notice, he was merely handing out "junk", which generally is sold in user shops cheaper than the Trading Co. does. Other quest givers were much more generous.

I love RSing & battling, and Freyalise is my favorite holiday. For anyone new to restocking, or having trouble catching restocks or getting items when they do see restocks, the wonderful wrote up some great tips on how to get something from a restock (RS):

"- Like other shops, Frey normally RSes every 6th minute. When it says "Restocked 5 minutes ago," it's time to get ready for the RS! Note that it can RS earlier or later, but the 6th minute rule is the norm.

Like other shops, newest items will always RS at the end.
When it gets to be about time, scroll down a bit so that you'll see more items in your field of vision upon RS. You don't want to be scrolling after the RS since it wastes time.
Unlike other shops that tend to RS around the same seconds-after-the-minute, Frey jumps all over the place to make it more difficult and give more people a chance to snag items. This means that you'll want to constantly refresh until the RS on the 6th minute.
Double or triple RSes are possible, where more items will appear after the initial RS."

I'll add a few things:

If you're RSing on a computer, when you click on an item to try and buy it, open the item in a new tab (Command + click on a Mac, Ctrl + click on windows) - this means you can click on multiple items to try to RS them without having to click 'back' to get to the main shop page after each one
Right before the 6th minute rolls around (once it's said 'restocked 5 minutes ago' for 45+ seconds), I start refreshing constantly. When I catch the RS, sometimes I'll refresh one more time because my first one may have caught it before all of the items had been added. If you have a slower connection, best to keep up the page the first time you see items.
Having a good internet connection is very important (and not being on a really old computer/device that is slow)

Also the shop doesn't restock oodles and oodles of product, unlike the Free Shop, so it runs out quickly.

I would recommend waiting at the store around the "stocked 5 minutes ago" mark and refresh every couple seconds. That's how I've been catching stuff.

It's during keel that I realize BHH stocks more frequently (***there's really no difference in the frequency of stocking the BHH, but when compared to The Freyalise Trading Co., the chances of finding something seem optimistically good)

I love that we have a restocking event. I am not successful every time, but I've found that even though I'm rusty with restocking, I can suavely grab at least one item per restock now. It just takes a lot of patience and persistence lol

I learned how to restock because it's easier for me to focus. I've been learning for months now. It feels pretty dismissive to have that effort be written off as a bot.

Somehow I managed to get five (!) items at one restock. I couldn't believe my luck. Messed up the next restock though. It has benefits when you live in another time zone than the majority. Also thanks for the opponents now that I finally have a pet that's in training. It already managed to defeat Angrybeard five times.

I doubt there are bots at play cause I've been able to get a good chunk of books Elfric's been missing for a few years. And I absolutely suck at RSing otherwise. But forget bots, battle? Yes? :o

Unfortunately no we don't but with anywhere between 300-500 people being on and having restocks every so often, more then likely stuff will get bought very quickly when a holiday shop is open. I managed to get an few items but I've been at the shop refreshing the page every few minutes. Users need to stop assuming there are bots just because they aren't fast enough or online when they can't get an item. I'm not trying to be a debbie downer but that's how it is.

Are people actually saying some users are using bots? Um...no? Subeta has a rule about having only one account and I'm very positive a good amount of users know when the shop restocks. If you are having trouble getting items, may I suggest doing Carl quests and vend at the ocean depths, like another user before me said as well.

I’ve not been trying very hard and I’ve gotten maybe 15 items already. I just grab what I can and click quickly! Plus the event is going on until the end of the month so there’s plenty of time to try and get stuff. :)

For everyone accusing others of using bots because the shop is empty - the "Restocked Now!" message stays there for the first whole minute after the restock. Items usually sell out in about 15-25 seconds when 300-500 people are online.

Restocking has patterns and the people who have figured them out will be there the moment the shop restocks and it's got nothing to do with bots.

Keep at it and you might notice the patterns as well!

Psst, it’s the first 24 hours of the event. The news post for it is at the top of the homepage, with 2 links directly to Freyalise. No need for conspiracy theories, there are hundreds of other people refreshing at the shop and clicking on items as they restock. If you’re having issues, I have 3 solutions for you:

Quest with Carl.
Vend at Ocean Depths.
Check the trades, and make a trade lot of your own with all the items you don’t need. Swap for stuff! Remember though that all of these items essentially have the same value: free. So if someone wants to trade your 500k beanbag for their 200k wearable, go for it. Everything will inflate massively after the event ends.

Plenty of users are getting items from Freyalise without the use of bots. I can normally get 1-2 items an RS, and I've had a couple of RSes where I've managed 3 or 4 (even with the 5 seconds between buys). Please don't assume people are using bots just because items are being bought quickly. Come check out the RS and Chat thread and you'll see a number of users posting their grabs.

While I can't prove or disprove the usage of bots by users, I know that it's entirely possible to get a nice item without resorting to cheating. It's a frustrating holiday for sure, there's a lot of competition, but if you start refreshing around 4 or 5 minutes since the last restock, it's higly possible you'll manage to grab an item. Granted, a lot of items you get aren't worth much, but every once in a while all this effort pays off! :)

To those saying they can't grab anything, the shop consistently restocks every six minutes so far I've seen. Just watch the subeta timer and spam click refresh to try and grab something. So far, I've gotten at least one item a restock if I;m paying attention.
