People seem to be forgetting you can turn parts of the Base on and off in the Wardrobe?? Should be able to just turn the part of the arm off you need, and use an arm mod.

I DO agree however, that's more hassle than it should be. I get wanting to make it arm-mod COMPATIBLE, but if in doing that you make it so that you HAVE to use one, that kind of,, still is a problem.

Otherwise, looking good - I echo though that I wish they had stayed Draft-style, instead of going so thin and limber. Very different feel to the items.

I thought the revamps were really cute! I still do. I can see why people might be upset though. They went from draft to pony. Super cute but so different they might as well have been different items. I mean I still think they are adorable, maybe ya'll could do both so everyone is happy ?

Except the Whiteout Pens go over the background leaving a white blob, so really I don't see how these horse-bottom-halves can ever be used? :/

To remove limbs, there are those whiteout pens in the Millionaire center like etc they work with skins ;)

I, for one, am happy that the horseshoes finally got an update. Now I'll actually use them, as evidenced by my current avatar :)

I still wouldn't mind new items that would look like draft horses. More animal booties in general, I'd say! ;)

I wish the new horse shoe revamps looked more like because the new bodies just look... too small and not horse-like. I love using animal bodies and horses are one of my fav animals so I'm a little sad about these 😭

Thank you for posting those! That's exactly what I was imagining, those horses are so muscly too, and the new ones are majorly shrunken down! I'd really appreciate some new draft style horsey legs to make up for the smallification of these.

Also re: zombie/zapper skins, I know it's more work but I think the ideal solution for that situation would be to make all of those skins part of the base system so we can remove limbs on them too?

yeah, I know about those, but then you can't use any backgrounds. I hate to feel like I'm just looking for reasons to be displeased about it, but I really don't know what could actually work. So I just stick not using any items that alter the body shape ^^'

If you want to use limb modifiers like this with skins, there are some items which were released from the cash shop that cover limbs manually which may suit your needs. Unfortunately I don't remember their item names, since I have never used them.

Not really a big fan of the proportions and positions of the horseshoe revamps, and its a bummer you can't use them with skins anymore. I don't really know what the solution to that problem could be, but its frustrating to have to choose between more skin tones (or blush, or freckles, etc) OR a growing number of items that require disabling limbs.

Horse to donkey Horse to deer Horse to skinny black cow Horse to mini horse... Return how they were, so are accurate, and HA skin compatible. Even if you just switch up the arm section.

The horseshoes do make me wonder if the Centaur/Centaurette costumes could get another revamp someday. The shading has always felt off somehow to me ever since their previous revamp. :o

I just wanted to note that they were called Centaurettes because that's what they were called for Disney's Fantasia, which Subeta's centaur outfits were inspired by. ^^

Wow, no, I am not loving those horseshoe revamps one bit. Why are their hooves so teeny-tiny? Have you seen draft hooves????

In fact, everything is big on a draft horse, which is why I never minded how chonky the old art was; it was accurate. They're so small that they look more like deer than horses. I really think both versions could exist on site if you were to make them transformable, at the very least.

The horseshoes really needed a revamp and they look great now, but I'm going to have to agree with people preferring them to be bigger. But for me I think they just don't fit the avatar. The art itself is wonderful, but the horse body looks too small. I guess it would be hard to fit in something more appropriately-sized, but the older versions at least did a better job of that. But I still like them anyway.

It would be nice if and could also be revamped (also, just a nitpick, but a female centaur is called a centauride, so the "centaurette" item names should be changed, but nbd if not).

all these old weapons getting revamped feels like such a tease after we heard "no gelly war because there's other battle stuff on the horizon" and then. got nothing.

at least all these revamped shields means pavise's treasure is always getting prettier!

Why do the “horses” have paws instead of hooves? It’s extremely confusing.

Unless you meant for them to be a horse/cat hybrid? Maybe mention that in the item name then.

Aw, I also liked the chunkier horse legs. Reminded me of a heavy horse/clydesdale and made for more rugged-looking centaur characters. I really like that these can be more easily layered, though!

coincidentally I had just used this hat with an outfit the other day and it was still cached with the old style, so I was able to get a comparison shot:

I think the new look is closer to the HA standard and fits better with most HAs, but it doesn't work as well in this particular outfit that the old one happened to suit especially well. Which is to be expected. Both look about equally good with the hair, though, I think.

I like that a lot of super cheap items are being revamped so there's no rush to mark things up to 100m, but some retired Collection stuff needs help too!

sadly there is only 10 "human" skin tones plus black and white. And none of the gloves work with the curious dolls for shading , not that we could really use the dolls anymore with those scrawny forelegs and dinky little hooves. The old hooves were a bit over large to be sure, but these look more like a toenail than like a hoof, they are waaay to tiny. At least we sill have the centaur chest items I can use with skins, but the rusty shoes used to go so well with the faun skin. Sigh.

I'm guessing it cuts off the hand so it can be used with arm mod items!

I respect the new art, it’s great, but I’m sad the horseshoes aren’t draft horse style, I thought that’s what the originals were? Can we have some new draft horse style legs in the future? Dainty horses are great, and so are big honkin huge ones haha.

I'm surprised the throwing star hasn't inflated by a lot already. And the helmet looks better, but I'm not sure about the change in size, it might be harder to use with hairstyles now...

Love this! The old ones looked a lot like fursuit feet, like trying to hide the shape of human legs inside animal legs. Now that disabling limbs is a thing we can have the dainty horsey legs of our dreams.
