I've tasted one of those Asian beetles before. It fell in my chili and blended right in. They taste exactly like they smell. Blergh!! Another bug that I've accidently tasted was a carpenter ant. It was on a piece of chocolate that I popped into my mouth. Nasty, bitter, gross!!
