Aww, well now I feel bad that I made you feel bad. I admit, I felt frustrated because I tried to help, I put in time and effort to investigate, and it felt like you didn't believe me and were just upset that I couldn't "fix" it, with how you would bring it up on other bug reports and comments and stuff. I think a lot of us in the USA are just a little extra tense and stressed out this week - so my apologies if I read into it too much. I think it is cleared up now, and no hard feelings. <3

Oh my God. I really feel bad now. Even more, because I know you have more pressing matters on your hands. This comment was by no means meant as an accusation against you or any staff member! Sorry, if it felt that way! It was a response to someone, who had experienced the same as I. And I am not really frustrated, after all I got the achievement, which others in the same boat did not. I was and am confused, because all the years before it behaved very differently. I used to have to take it off in order to find the books I am always in desperate need of. And thank you for devoting so much time and effort into investigation of my "problem".

Okay - I know you're frustrated about not finding many minions even though you had it on. And I know hearing "it's just bad luck" feels dismissive, but on the contrary: your report was taken seriously, investigated thoroughly, and received a timely staff response. I checked as thoroughly as I could. I put it on and took it off, I double checked the code that tells you if you're wearing it, I made sure there was no cache issue with that, I made it output the random number and make sure it's doing the actual check, applying it to the probability, etc. I actually triple-checked because I gave you the benefit of doubt the second time you brought it up, after the first investigation. It is all working correctly. With RNG, sometimes you get bad luck, and that's part of the game. Even with the Minion Nip active, you are still more likely to not find a minion than to find one when you visit the Patch. You can continue to bring it up, but I don't think there is anything more we can do for you here. I'm not going to quadruple-check this, and I can't fix a glitch that doesn't exist.

I really enjoyed Morostide this year. The wearables were beautifully done (my favorite is the Gourd Witch Stone Path because I can't get enough of peaceful rural backgrounds), the waves of battle opponents were a fun challenge (my battle pet defeated Devora five times for the first time this year!), there were so many new books, the site ran surprisingly smooth with minimal snags outside of those few hours one morning when there was downtime, and the new experiment pets are absolutely fantastic! The Team went all out this Morostide to create something we could enjoy in the midst of all the chaos going on around us every day. All of that time and effort is truly appreciated. Thanks Subeta Team for such a great Morostide. 🌻

I never ended up finding the Kracklen, either, even with only hunting in section 1 with the minion nip on from the beginning of the event. I only ever found snowflaik. I'm actually upset about it because I have every other minion achievement. :(

@ Rick Yeah, very unfortunate, indeed, with the year bound achievements.

I even exchanged my Nip halfway through, because it was oviously not working, in case there could be something wrong for whatever coding reason with the one I wore specifically. Didn't help. The minions weren't attracted by the other one, either.

I used the nip all the time also form the beggining. I just found like 5 Trance and 2 Snowflaik. lol For me is really sad because I am an achievement collector and I lost another achievement just because I have 0% of luck. I mean, I tried more than 200 times what D: Only if I hadn't slept in these two weeks I could have tried harder -.-

I wore my Minion Nip ALL THE TIME this year, while usually I took it off halfway through the holiday, to focus on the books. I did find Kraklen but hardly got any minions altogether. I was lucky with Jakyl, but even though I visited section 1 and 4 95% of the hundreds times, didn't find a Halloeve. I am still convinced, that the Nip did not work this year, even though I was told by 2 Admins, it did.

We don't get achievements for specific holidays every year, it's just that Morostide seems to get them the most, and you never know if any achievements in the future will involve items from this year.

I tried more than 200 times the pumpkin patch and I dind't find the Kracklen. This is really sad!!!

I collected all the items and there is no new achievements. This is also sad for me lol

Anyway, thanks for another Morostide. At least we got a lot of challengers in the battle.

At good last this was an enjoyable, working holiday, thank you. Apart from some little hickups in between and the long Friday downtime, smooth sailing all along, wonderful! Too many challengers, though, rofl. Thank goodness the BC didn't go on slow motion or fail us compkletely again. But they already did give out a shipload of old stuff, so I thought that would replace the questinf stuff.

Oh, so it is one of the regular quest givers after all. I was hoping the reason it was a mystery was because it was a temporary quest giver. And I was kind of hoping for at least a bit of Jaxon and Ian content but maybe that can still happen before next year? I just want to see more of them being adorable together (in my opinion, I would like to see more MLM represented similar to how a lot of WLW are). And to find out how Dungarde has been doing as well. Even if it's just in item descriptions.

Apart from that, it's been a good event. A lot of the items have been great, and I managed to get an expensive sticker during battling, twice. The shorter times and extension helped me finish off last year and get everything from this year, although some things eluded me so much that I had to rely on trading X)

Why are people complaining. I train my pets all year every year just for this event. Every year I get amulets, tomes, new books and Scrolls.... Shreik of despair scrolls OMG that scroll is awesome. Thank you staff for making 2020 morostide the best.

thank you, bringing the blackened pumpkin back would be great, if it could be done. (what about through TS) . I'm sure new users would love it!

They’re items from years past that restocked in the Holiday Shop and some of the other shops. We haven’t had anything new that way for at least 3 years, I think? no, that was a pumpkin patch item. I’ve been discussing it with the BAs though about how we can rerelease it. :)
