Instant gratification would be allowing you to instantly progress to alchemy level 35.

Not withholding content from exclusively new players. is not instant gratification lol

You're also kinda missing the point. Having things that are long-term objectives are also good. Instant gratification is okay, but not everything has to be instant gratification

Also, the inactive accounts have...nothing to do with not being able to do one thing. There are many reasons why, starting with the site's instability reputation, but that's a debate for another day.

Kind of missing the point lol Excluding new players from content is never a good idea. Especially when the game can’t keep them. A year is a long time to wait and peoples’ interest will fizzle by then.

Take a look at the thousands of inactive accounts for proof.

Staff kinda want people to take part in Survival. so that's the one thing that require participating once in Survival and then you're not required to participate again.

If you don't have alchemy access, a lot of people do have access and can make the items for you.

That’s kind of the point everyone has zombie skins except new players lol. Probably not the best idea to exclude new players from content when the site has a problem bringing in and keeping new players to begin with.

No zombie skin can be bought, you have to wait until Survival.

This is done to encourage people to participate in Survival. And, unlike when the alchemy was added, you can remove skins, which wasn't the case before.

Any zombie skin you can buy or do you have to wait a year? If you have to wait seems a bit flawed for newer players. What if they (we) lose interest by then lol

You can access and create alchemy items all year round ! Items are added to the pool randomly, this year they've added some throughout the year but sometimes they only add them during Survival (and Morostide I think ?). But once you have a skin you can create things whenever ! This board can help you out, too.

Are alchemy items added as seasonal/holiday items, or will they be around after Morostide? I'm relatively newer and I haven't participated in a Survival event yet (no zombie skin yet).
