New Subscription Item: Gilded Double Frame

We've changed the special item for our Subscription Quester, Councilor, and Goddess plans. We will be changing this special item slot every month.

Note on the special item from the subscription plans: Based on your feedback, we've improved our special item system to ensure that you do not receive duplicate special items that have to be manually swapped out by staff! If the special item hasn't updated by the time your subscription renews, you will not get an item when it renews; instead, you will receive your item prize later when the new item is released. The rest of your subscription perks will go out on your renewal date, as usual. Enjoy!

Additional note: This update may not be perfectly retroactive, so if you do happen to receive a duplicate this month, please file a ticket: a User Administrator will swap your item out, and a Programmer will make sure it is not an issue for you again moving forward.

The frame is very nice. I hope the quality of these items continues to impress. Last month was a bit disappointing for a reward you await all month long. Apologies, but I didn't even know what to do with it, as I couldn't see ever using it.

Yes, you'll receive all the prizes right away on a new subscription. The only time you wouldn't get the special item with everything else is if the new item isn't out yet when your subscription renews. In that case, you'd get it when it comes out later, instead of getting a duplicate of an item you got before.

As for "why gift gold accounts", well - a lot of people do give them to friends, but you could also gift one to a stranger for any reason, like to say "thanks for the helpful forum post!", or even just as a random act of kindness.

I love the change to how the subscription item is awarded. I saw the note on my renewal earlier today and then got a new event once the item had gone live and the script awarded mine to me! I am really glad y'all worked out a way to get this out without us having to file tickets monthly ❤️

the question nobody is answering is that the goody you get from subscribing is rarity 125 Cash Shop. In the blue box on the Fragmentizer page, rarity 125 is NOT INCLUDED in the rarities of the things that it will destroy.

If I sign up for a plan will I get the item upon purchasing? I still have months left on my GA I believe. Another thing, why gift people gold accounts? I don't have friends and would rather use it for myself or get extra credits lol.

You will get it when your subscription renews.

Hm... You'll get whichever item is active at the time when your subscription starts or renews. It is not technically "late" since you will receive this item during the month that it's active, just towards the tail end. I get what you mean though.

you get the special item when your subscription renews - if it renewed earlier today and you didn't get it, file a ticket, admin will take care of it :) otherwise just wait until your renewal date!

Sorry everyone, we are all doing a bit poorly today and there was some confusion on our end. I read over the news post and it somehow didn't register that it was inaccurate until after it was posted 😭

I've just edited the news post with the correct information, so please give it a second read, and ping me if you need any further clarification. This change was made specifically to address the issue with people getting duplicates and having to write tickets every month. See this Site Feedback topic for a bit of context :)
