You're too late. I cut my own hair a month ago. Just don't do anything too drastic if you're not confident in what you're doing. Also watching Brad Mondo youtube videos helped.

I actually really like that hair though.

As someone that has been shaving the sides of their own hair for 17 years, trimming the long portion for about 9, and bleaching/dying for four (and the only other person allowed to touch my hair for the past 20 years and filled in with the bleaching/dying/trimming before was my certified hair stylist sister): salons ARE worth it. Go to them. Under better conditions, obviously; right now your hair can look scraggly. Unless you can't afford it, or are like me and have issues with people touching their hair, in those cases take your time and be cautious.

Heh, as someone who has consistently been cutting their own hair for 10 years.. do it. You can only learn through practice. Do you really want to pay $40 for someone else to do it? Mistakes are a natural part of learning and.. it’s the perfect time to do it cuz no one can judge you if you can’t go out XD
