The Hebrew Textbook indicates that some of the human settlers on Subeta are Jewish. We know that someone in the Jewish community is qualified because the Food Market sells Kosher Salt and Quick Bites sells Bovyne Steak "For pets that keep kosher." I looked up kosher food for pets out of curiosity and found this - Kosher for Passover Pet Food

Also we should have kosher foods too! I would love to be able to eat pretend shmurah matzah since I can't have it ever again. (The oat substitute is just plain nasty. It makes me as depressed about Pesach as a lot of other people are, which I don't like feeling about a celebration of freedom.)

do you think the impossible burger will ever be gluten-free? I love meat, but I'm so freaking curious. And if something tastes good, but won't kill me, I will eat it.

Plus, I have a colleague who had to give up being vegan because her body won't process non-heme iron and she gets refractory anemia that will only respond to meat or blood transfusions, which are much more dangerous and expensive than a little bit of chicken--but she hates meat. I'm so excited to find out if this would solve her problems.

I used to be into kashrut but I've been so depressed about it ever since I found out I can't have proper shmurah matzah (I adored the taste of it, I know I'm a weirdo, I used to actually LOVE Pesach) ever again. Maybe someday. Although I do love me some cheeseburger on a gluten-free bun, on the rare occasions I can find a place that serves one.

I love a good impossible burger. I keep kosher, so I generally can't do a cheeseburger so an impossible burger gives me the chance to add ALL THE CHEESE (and mushrooms and onions) (and more cheese)

loving all the citrus themed things lately, woo!! also the tumbler itself looks like those oldschool tupperwares, and i collect them in real life so.. SO MUCH LOVE n_n
