It was really hard for me to tell what this one was at first. I love my Jacrispy. <3 Creepy, but I can still tell what he is.

The beak looks a little bit weird; kind of soft-edged. And I think they overdid it a little with the eyes. But overall, I basically like.
That said: still waiting on the telenine.

It's little face is cute but it took me a good minute to figure out I was looking at. The color concept is great but some of these are getting too cluttered to really enjoy. Besides the Kumos and Ontra, it's really hard to see what's going on with these.

I had no idea what it was supposed to be until I read the description. I thought it was an original rift pet. I like the face/expression though, very cute.

I think the pose idea is nice, but I feel the pose is a bit stiff and not fluid like it's supposed to be. The wing is very odd too. I didn't even know that was a wing at first, I thought it was just some weird rift plank. To be fairly honest, I'm not a big fan of this particular pet's rift design. :

Art-wise, I think its back wing is what makes it so difficult for me to identify the shape of the head. Not sure if it's the same for others though. :o

The pose cracks me up, it's so odd I really love the re-imagining of what parts of a pets' body is the top or bottom and it works so well. Sure they're messy, but it's also kinda great.

I think rift pets are meant to look messy and confusing. However, I do think the body is stretched out a bit too long. Other than that, I have no problems with it.

I really want to like the rift pets but it's hard when I have trouble even identifying the pet. My eyes have to refocus everytime I look at it. I understand these are supposed to be monsters from some Lovecraftian hell but we are mere mortals! Our brains can only take so much!

I’m getting more and more hyped about riftborn pets. My angelic characters are the types that are covered in eyeballs and have a billion wings, so the chances that they’re getting color changes once their respective species get rifted just keeps getting more and more likely ;o;

Honestly, I love everything about this except the "tail feathers"... There is something about the way it splits to cover the entire top of the image that makes me go "Huh?"... I think it would have looked better if the backside had been tilted enough that the tail was on all on the left... -shrugs-

That said, while I don't love the tail, it's not deterring me from wanting one of these! (More riftborns and irions please. LOL)
