Yes! You'll get a random event that says "Tempest wants to play with you" or something like that, and the text is a link you have to click on, and then she gives you a little present (many items in the pool including storm potions) and a hug.

Beautiful new items! Can't wait to get these, Tempest REs are so cute because they're a lil more "interactive" and she's always so happy and adorable and gives you a present, she's so sweet! 10/10 would get hugged by a giant stormy cloud bear again.

I agree with , the line art does look a bit thick, at least compared to other new items. However, they’re really beautiful and I’m looking forward to getting a hug from Tempest!
