We hope you’ve been practicing your dance moves because the Annual Masquerade Ball is finally here! Pace yourself, because the dance floor will be open until 11:59pm on April 8th! The Masquerade Forums will close at 11:59pm on April 9th!

Use the following code in your status and other places to get friends (and strangers) to share a dance with you!

Just a reminder that this is a Masquerade, so make sure you’re wearing a mask when you go to dance! Migrating Masks has opened back up and has plenty of masks for you to choose from.

Any item with the work ‘mask’ in the name will work for dancing, rarity doesn’t matter!

Stop by the Libertine Lounge for some drinks and nibbles in-between dances! This is the only wave of items for the Libertine Lounge.

This is the first wave of items for the Menagerie! There will be one other wave released later in the holiday.

Keep an eye out for Boudewijn while you dance. If you manage to win a duel with him, he’ll give you a bag of trinkets. He won’t actually kill you in a duel, so no worries there!

it doesn't seem like he's working. I found him only once in the dancefloor, I even looked into the image URL for the character to see if it was really Boudewijn, and it was, but no duel at all...

Yeah know.. it would be great if I didnt have a full 5 minute loading screen in between accepting dances.. how on earth does anyone with a job get though any of this?!

The stars are basically a count of how many comments that you've made on the forums. More stars = more posts.

Can anyone tell me what the stars are supposed to mean on the forums? I had none and now I have one. Out of my (almost 12) 11 years of playing, this is the first time around where I will have a chance to do this holiday <______> So, I'm a bit behind on some of the terms/meanings.

You make a good point about the lag. It definitely makes the reclickable buttons less desirable if they're the cause of it! The kissing buttons weren't reclickable, at least they weren't for me. But I also didn't experience any lag (or at least not much that I remember, if any) during survival.

Not sure what this lag is caused from... but maybe it would be nice to have a random dance link - like we have for tot??

I love those capes but the arms? are so tiny??? At least both sides are equally puny, so they look ok together, but if you just put on one it looks REALLY weird.

you can also layer the extra mask behind your base so you don't have to worry about it looking good with the signet! just drag it below your base layer :)

The item doesn't have mask in the name. :) We used to have masks tagged to work, but that was leaving out so many, so we just gave up and just made it any item with 'mask' in the name. I'll work on getting those to make sense to work :)
