Just a reminder that New Years Tokens and old holiday items will go out via quests until 11:59 on January 16th!

I just finish Quest and no Tokens, is dissapointed that we no got few more Days to play for, we have so many Days we can't play cause we have this Site Problems, sad.

we have so many days with laggy site problems where users unable to do any quest or something to get tokens, u think we get some days more to have a chance for tokens to get ?

So when we started the New Years Shop, we originally were just doing new items each year. But we wanted a way to bring back those ridiculous like 2005 etc items that don't really make sense coming back anywehre else so we added them to the shop. Since they weren't originally released by token prices, they were floaters, we made them a bit more expensive to keep some value

Ah, I'm so close to getting enough tokens for all the books I need! I'll finish them off next year for sure. ^_^ I've been loving the return of the old holiday items. Thanks for the fun. c:

They didn't use the tokens at all until like 2014 or 2015, I think. All of the years before that the items themselves came from the goodie bag floating items, there was no shop at all yet. You would open a goodie bag and get like 3-4 random items from that year or something like that. Then they implemented the New Years tokens and shop and did away with the goodie bags, but I don't think they brought back the older items until another year or two later.

Thanks for the reminder, guys. Question - how did they used to be given out? Those early years are so freaking expensive, it's been years and will still take a few more to get all of them. x.x

I doubt I'll get everything I want this year again. Some of those early year items are just so expensive. But next year. Next year I ought to be able to finally catch up.
