this doesn't prevent me from trying. The rewards for Fragmentation of any particular item are too small for me to be paying specific attention to the rarity number of each and every one of them. If they're too cheap to sell, then as far as I'm concerned they're shop-cloggers. When we had endlessly big shops, I'd just keep them around just in case, but nowadays I will chuck pretty much anything into the grinder. Some of them come back out. shrugs.

You actually can't frag a free gift item. The fragmentizer accepts only rarities of 1-99, 101, 115, 150, 160, and 175.

Cash Shop Items, Artifacts, Challenger Loot, Free Gifts and CWs can't be fragged. You have no idea how relieved I was when I learned this. I used to be so paranoid that as CWs got approved and paid for, and appeared in my inventory at seemingly random times, I'd accidentally frag one.

Aha, you are right, it's still the same rarity. I have never tried to Fragmentize something that's not a Free Gift because the other ways those r195 thingies get released makes them go up in price too fast to make them seem Fragmentizeable.

What is the occasion for making it into a Free Gift? (Just 'cuz it's fun is a perfectly good reason by me, just curious)

It is. All free items are r195 (newsletter, free gifts, free shop, etc.). I already discussed this with a few people when deciding to put it here instead :)
