You check your phone after running a few errands to see 1 missed call, and the voicemail indicator flashing. You listen to your message:

"Um, hey, it's me. It's Ian, I mean. I wanted to chat about our, um, project? If you could stop by the house, that would be good. So, yeah, call me back or come over or… something. Bye."

What follows is the sound of Ian not actually successfully hanging up, then several minutes of rustling and noises of him puttering about. You decide not to play phone tag and instead head over to Skelly Manor.

I didn't get the star puzzle (I got the sliding one), but I'm copying the text from pumpkin's plot guide (which can be found in the Morostide section of the forums):

The design of the star is NOT relevant to the puzzle. The purpose is to move the 6 light purple boxes until every row/column has only 3 stars (vertically or horizontally). Move boxes by selecting 1 box, and then the 2nd box which you would like to switch it with. The box selected will have a red outline. The 3 black boxes cannot be moved

[] the only Challenger you need to fight is the day one challenger. It's fairly easy to defeat it with even an untrained pet but it does require you to understand Subeta's complicated battle system.

The other challenger you can avoid entirely if you want to. There will be prizes associated with beating them at the end of this site even for beating them if the awards work like they usually do.

There is a CS Challenger named Dungarde, and it is one of the most difficult. This is starting to smell like (to me) that we will all be collectively fighting a Paramnesiac Dungarde at the conclusion of this plot.

Since the crystals are the same, I'm hoping Merana will finally be unbound for good. Mua ha haaaaa!

thank you but i continued the game and had to solve the spider puzzle ! i love those so glad i choose the right one lol

but still pitty i would have loved to try to solve the other puzzle too thats all and i alway "hate" to choose something because i always want to try or play it all ( a bad habbit i think ) but ...human also i guess rofl and the art of the vase was as lovely as the chest

I'm loving these puzzles. It's nice to have challenging (but not brutal) parts of the plot that we can't just breeze through, feels more rewarding when it's completed.

you have to choose one and only one of them as far as anyone has known. My own guess is that we will need all the reliquaries to get to the Big Bad Dungarde though.

Some places in the plot require you to click everywhere and there is some cache delay and cloudflare errors going on, so sometimes getting stuck has nothing to do with you and when you go back everything will work fine just like you just found out.

Which puzzle do you have? If you have the sliding puzzle, then you can move thise tiles next to the empty space by clicking on them.

Yep, I picked Godfrey's tomb. Just kinda rushed in without realizing I might not be able to back out of whatever choice I made and go to the other tomb!! The good news is though, finally the puzzle is solved!!!!!

For those of us whose monitor/color settings don't match those of the artist and puzzle setter of the star puzzle but otherwise could easily solve a sudoku puzzle, the lower right corner tile? That's moveable. Only the other three corner tiles are stuck. Jeeeeeez.

OH FRICKIN' FINALLY:

star puzzle solution

The aim of the game is to get three stars in every row both vertically and horizontally. So long as each row has three stars total, you're golden. It took a lot of failures to get a board that cooperated but this is essentially how it's done.

Thank you for the encouragement! I got stuck with the spider slider puzzle though, not the stars. I feel like I'm getting close, but still not entirely sure what the picture is supposed to look like completely done. You're right, they're hard!!

The puzzle is hard, but all you've got to do is find a way to get each row and column to have 3 stars in it. If you get too confused, maybe try refreshing the page and starting over? I had to do that a few times until I got it (mostly by chance). Every time I moved something I would stop and check how many stars each row and column had. It worked out eventually. I'm sure you'll get it! :)
