New CW-Approval Position

We are currently looking for a new member of staff to aid in the approval of custom wearable (CW) items. The position will be on a part-time basis and will be both approving art as well as working with CW submitters in order to get items into the system in a timely manner.

Required:

  • You must live in the US
  • You must be over 18
  • You must have the ability to work on the chat client Slack and the work management tool Asana
  • You must have the availability and flexibility to work 10-20 hours per week spread out evenly
  • You must be able to work around holidays
  • Your account must be in good standing

Desired:

  • A drawing background is a plus, but not a requirement. If you are able to critique art and understand what is wrong with it, that’s what we’re looking for.
  • A professional quality of writing is important in responding to users
  • The ability to work well with people and be able to handle criticism

As we're a small staff, we love when our colleagues are multi-talented. Have ideas for future events? Have the ability to fix old items with stray pixels? Let us know what else you might bring to the team!

Perks of the job:

  • Flexible schedule - you can choose your own hours (to an extent! We have found doing 10 hours on one day and then not showing up for a week doesn’t work well with the other users. It’s better to spread out your work time so the CWs don’t pile up too much)
  • Holiday pay
  • Subeta Staff perks (free GA, fond.co offers)

If you are interested in the position, please email [email protected] with the title ‘CW-Approval Application - Your Username’, your resume and a cover letter telling us why you’d be a good fit for the position. We’re looking forward to hearing from you!

We will be taking applications until 11:59PM on August 17th 2018. Please get your applications in by this time. Interviews will be conducted over a preferred chat client, which will be discussed via email!
