Spells Galore: Revamps!

If the spell ingredients are going to be revamped/made wearable, why not do all of them?

I think the oils look fine. They're nice and glossy. Honestly didn't think of baby bottles until I read the comments, but now I can't unsee it...

The main thing I'm wondering is why the sand is...splashing. It really does look more like brown liquid than sand.

The mermaid tail WOULD look really nice except that the position is very awkward, as others have said. I really wish that was handled better, the details of the scales and fins are just beautiful so it's a shame it's still unusable to me. TBH though since it's a mermaid tear I kinda feel like it should have been a face item. I mean we have plenty of mermaid tails already and I'd rather see the old ones updated rather than adding more new ones.

The oils looked better before. The perspective is weird, the lables are blurry. First I thought, they looked like baby bottles with suckers, but Les' eyedropper explanation makes sense. Still look like baby bottles to me, though.

The new Manticore Sting is too dark to see details and looks very hairy now.

Sands of Time is bigger, the animation a great bonus. The sand too dark and too dribbly more like liquid.

The wearable of the Mermaid Tear keeps me puzzled, too. Can't make head nor tail of it :-) A knot in the tail perhaps? But that doesn't fit the windings, either. Weird.

Is that mermaid... bending its tail in a cartoon lightning bolt position? That's very strange looking, I'm afraid it just looks like... someone was having trouble figuring out how to get the mermaid tail to fit inside of the avatar box. I really wish it wasn't a requirement for items to fit in the avatar box in the first place....

I do like the update to the Ruhk Eggshell though! It looks so much more crisp now.

I like the tear as wearable. <3 Those oils indeed look a bit like baby bottles - i think the top should have been a bit longer, if they're supposed to have droppers. As they are right now, they seem difficult to grab and use. but what do i know. i never used that egg shell, but i liked it, haha thanks for the revamps.

The new bottles look like they've got glass droppers inside connected to rubber top to syringe the oil into the dropper? It's similar to stuff I've used in chemistry courses.

Except for the new tail, I don't like any of these either wears or item images.

The artist doesn't think the essential oils have eyedropper tops, but are baby bottles? The manticore sting starts below the HA butt but somehow is not visible between the legs? Yes we get moving sand, but the change in perspective removes the glassness of it and makes you wonder what the heck it even is.

i don't use the mermaid's tear as a wearable, but as a TC item i am STOKED that the item art has been revamped. i was actually looking at it not that long ago and thinking that it needed an upgrade. thank you!!!

It's twined around itself - it takes a sharp turn back and then flips around to show the fin. It's not how you normally see mermaid tails done, but it'd work just fine if they were that flexible.

I do love the update but I miss the texture on the oil bottle caps. With the new topper shape the old texture would really remind me of a eyedropper/pipette in a plastic holder

The will probably be revamped at some point, and it could be made wearable then.

(also not sure if its name is spelled "Selki" on purpose or if it should be changed to "Selkie")

Glad to see the mermaid tear be wearable now but it looks a bit weird? Maybe I'm looking at it wrong but it looks like a glob with a fin attached.
