No actually, I met him at a convention and during an autograph signing I mentioned that I wanted to use his image for a character idea i had and he said that sounded cool and didn't mind. Which is almost permission i suppose :D

Very cool pet! Padalecki had me expecting a Supernatural tribute at first but your story cleared that up fast, and i like how the photo helps picture what you were going for with the character. Love the story, and the clean professional look of the profile. Now unless you were being facetious please explain the verbal permission thing because that sounds like an anecdote worth sharing.
