Wow! It's awesome to see another fan of this show on the site. As soon as I saw the pet name I just knew what it would be about. I actually haven't seen many episodes in French though.

Congrats Ringo! Love the pet! Actually rewatching the show again now. Love the pairing too! Always nice to see how natural they can be. :) And much better in French than in English, so I feel you. :)

- Franglais is when you mix french and English words together purposely when you speak. There's a reoccurring character in the show that does that. Which you would only catch if you watched it in French. ;)

That sentence just means that he can be his normal self with her. He's not trying to act cool or impress her (like Chat Noir would to Ladybug) and neither is he trying to be super polite and on his best behavior like he is as his civilian self, Adrian. It's all crazy but super fun! :D
