Blake Steele, Jack Cardale and the Computer Geek ventured into the caverns south of the SAI along with their new machine.
"I present to you," Blake said, "The Hyperion!"
"The what, now?" Jack asked. "You named that vacuum cleaner?! What is the matter with you? And how the heck is that thing supposed to dig into Subeta... I knew it, I knew it... you all have lost your minds."
"No, we haven't!" Blake assured him. "This probe will drill into Subeta's core, and send us footage at the SAI! Soon enough, we'll know for sure! Now step aside, I want to take a picture!"
Jack sat upon a rock, shaking his head in disbelief.
"Subeta's brightest minds have lost it. Am I the only SANE one left?" he turned to Blake as the machine started up. "WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU DOING? TURN THAT OFF!"
"Well, how are we supposed to get into there, to find the dragon? The Hyperion isn't going to magically appear in Subeta's core," Blake replied.
"TURN IT OFF! THERE IS NO DRAGON! YOU'RE INSANE!"
"I KNOW WHAT I'M DOING!"
"NO, YOU DON'T!"
"OH SHUT UP, JACK!"
Soon after, the cavern shook as a result of another tremor.
"You guys," the Computer Geek interrupted, "We need to get out of here before the cavern caves in... start that machine up and let's go!"
The Hyperion tunneled its way underground, disappearing from their view. As the cavern continued to rumble, the three made their way out.
"To the SAI!" Blake commanded. "Let's see what feeds we get!"
"The sooner we get into the core, the better," Jack growled. "It won't be too long before metalhead realizes that there is nothing... nothing at all."
You would think they would let the staff members in on whats coming next, but of course, they don't. That bites.
