That Maybel, she’s one fiery grandma! You really can’t underestimate an old lady with a lot of minions, can you.

It seems that you shouldn’t be underestimating one-armed Unliving shopkeepers, either. Something has been troubling Bubbles of late, and he’s not quite sure why, but it makes him ridiculously angry and you’d do best to stay out of his way!

Bubbles is available now as a challenger if you can figure out what triggers his rage and unlocks him!

Once you unlock Bubbles, he will appear in the Secret Tab. Unlike our Throwback Challengers, unlocking Bubbles is not limited to just this month. While we'll continue releasing a challenger on the second Thursday, you'll have plenty of time to unlock them.

There's a great thread here that has been doing that lists all the unlockable challengers and how to get them. If you want a list of just the challenger names and want to find them yourself, I can grab you a quick list because that thread doesn't have spoiler tags.

Glass of Smoked Beer worked for me. For those wondering how to unlock him. Buy a 'beer' item from the brewery (heads up the brewery is closed so you have to buy from user shops, and you can get a list of all the brewery items from subetalodge) and then visit bubbles at his shop the lost skeleton!

Late response, but I think it can be any drink from the Brewery not just the Gunter ones. And the special brews are the ones that he was selling as part of his brew club where we got a new one ever month, apparently those don't work. It has to be an item that stocks/stocked in the Brewery shop itself.

it says in the news post "and he’s not quite sure why", so something is making him angry but he isn't sure why. The hints users have given have mentioned his brother, but like from his standpoint you're just bringing these items near him and he's like ??? WHY DOES THIS SEEM FAMILIAR

I think it has to be an actual item purchased from The Brewery, not one of Gunter's special brews he was making since last Alegarten? At least. Feuer-Chili Beer didn't work. Luckily I had a Brewery item in my shop.

Maybe his memories are starting to come back in bits and pieces, or not even a full memory but just a vague feeling of something unpleasant related to beer that's on the edge of his memory but he can't quite grasp it fully. But it's enough to frustrate him and make him angry seeing beer now or something.

There's a lure error with how to unlock Bubbles, on the Subetapedia it says that he doesn't remember his brother, so how can he be angry by an item that connected to his brother? if he doesn't remember him so this item means nothing to him and can't make him angry..

Here's the actual answer of how to unlock, don't click if you want to figure it out yourself

Pretty sure it just has to be one of the drink items that comes from Gunter's Brewery. I used one of the Grand Gunter ones, but someone else used a different item and it worked so I don't think it has to be super specific. But as long as it comes from the Brewery it will probably work, not just any beer item.
