I really like this and think it's a brilliant idea. I have a question though. Is there anyway to show the whole profile rather than just having it be a sliver at the top of the page? Is it a viewing problem on my end? I adore this and would love to see it in its entirety. Congrats to the winner <3

I'm told you did an amazing job with this pet, and i love the custom art. However, i am not allowed to examine any further than the initial glance, having not played the game yet. So congratulations on the (apparently well deserved) win, and i'll be checking back for a closer look soon.

"I prefer something else" isn't even a valid criticism though. It's basically the same thing as going up to an artist and saying "I don't like your style and think you should draw differently". You're not giving them any direction on things they might want to try or things they could expand upon, you're just telling them to do something that appeals to you instead of what appeals to them.

heeey no don't do that! this whole pet is meant to drive home the point as to why you shouldn't play that route! :') (but hey, at least you're committing instead of just watching it. are you gonna be able to go the whole way without guilt? hmm.)

If you have personal grievances with this pet (because they do have sensitive topics in their story), please PM/comment me about it-- or if you feel that this is a matter worth bringing to the whole site's attention, go make a thread in the Suggestions boards. But if you really do feel that way, don't make me your only victim; tell your feelings to every fanpet that wins the spotlight from here on out. Tell them that all their hard work doesn't matter at all because it's not 100% original!

I'm sure you'll get an incredibly warm reception.

The pet spotlight celebrates every kind of pet, factual / information, deceased real life pets, original characters, AND fanpets. All pets in these categories have won, and more I haven't listed.

Each and every single type of pet is crafted with love, care, and creativity no matter what the subject is. Fanpets are the epitome of love someone has for a character and it takes a lot of creativity to bring the character to life, especially since the pet would get booted from the queue if they simply slapped the wikipedia entry for the character on the page.

Maybe you should have a little more appreciation for types of creativity that don't fit your narrow ideas. Because there WILL be winners of the pet spotlight after this that do not fit it, and your comments will just be as unwelcome there.

It's also unfair to this user as previous winners have also won based on a franchise/game/real human in the past. If you aren't happy with how things are, maybe you could suggest a new spotlight category or changes to our current pet spotlight? You don't have to answer me as I don't want to create a suggestion feed in their winning post. You may comment me if you need to.

A lot of love and effort went into this pet; please keep in mind that this is called the pet spotlight, not the character spotlight. Next time, please don't rain on someone else's parade, obviously the owner is incredibly proud and excited and there's literally no reason to pick this one fanpet's win out of many other fanpet wins to air a grievance like that.

Anyway

Dude I haven't touched Undertale since you gifted it to me lmao, but simply because of how elaborate and dark this is, it makes me really want to try playing it again! I kinda skimmed since I didn't want everything to be spoiled, but dang some of the snippets I read are just. Dude. Bone chilling. This is so cool. Congrats so hard on the win!

I'M look I've only heard great things about Undertale but never played it, but now I'm hella interested and idk dude this pet is so great and everything about it, such wow. congrats on the win. ❤️

ALSO UM @ the ?? person just because a pet is based on a character that's already a thing, doesn't mean their owners didn't put effort and love into it. so yeah buzz off.

Oh my gosh, the day finally came!

I'm incredibly proud of all the work I've put into this pet: their story, their TC, their stats and the coding witchery that comes into play during certain parts of their story. I really enjoy this character, their depth, and the terrible story they have to tell, so I'm very glad to see them finally get the spotlight win.

Enjoy, and remember: choose love, not LOVE! (Unless you really are the sort of curious, terrible person who simply has to stray down every path. If so.. well, I can't say I didn't warn you. <3)
