They tried their best in the Great Turnip War, but were beat down rather quickly.

I'm going to pretend that's on purpose in the Beet Warrior description. :D

Turnips will always be associated with the food survival game from the Blake Steele/Omen Islands plot for me. xD

You can suggest that they bring back old items like the trivia prizes here - Items to put back into circulation

They've been trying to bring back more old and unbuyable or really expensive items, usually in the Crystal Shop or something like that.
