Having lost two cats in the span of the last 7 months, my heart hurt reading this. Schmeow was very loved, and he knew it. Thank you for letting us get to know him!

What a coincidence, two Nostalgic Felis in a row. Very nice story, deserved to win. I know your feel. My 15 years old cat passed away 5 months ago. I feel good now because he had a wonderful life, but sometimes I miss him so bad. He was so cute and affectionate and fat lol. Yeah, he was my best friend since I was 10 years old. Congratulations on the win.

And to think I was considering rewriting my ramblings just a couple of weeks ago! I wrote his profile bit around the anniversary of his passing, and that's an extremely rough time for me. So I babbled and probably wrote a bunch of things people don't really need to know about.

It's been a long, hard road without him, and I still miss him horribly. His death affected me more than those of human family members.
