They do kind of look like wigs on styrofoam heads. And now that that's been mentioned, that would make for a really cute item in the future.

I think is right. Since you can't see a clear cork or mouth of the bottle, they really need to have the liquid inside more visible. Filling it all the way (thus obscuring the liquid) only really works if you have other visual cues telling you it's a bottle:

Otherwise the liquid is the biggest tell, and needs to be obvious:

They're gorgeous, although I agree that they look less like bottles now. I LOVE the slight bend/fold (not sure what the word would be) in the ears, though, like they're sitting on a shelf that's too short for them or something :D That's really cute. Love the dripping/pooled blood on the Bloodred, too.

I thought they were wigs too! They would make super cute wigs with the horns included like a unicorn wig because the actual unicorn doesn't work well with many wigs

Also, Idk if anyone would consider it, but these would look really cute in a TC now, like the perfume bottles IRL that are nice to collect even if you aren't partial to the fragrance :) Like if you have a pet that loves unicorns, these would be perfect

I liked the old ones better, except for the bloodred one, that one looks way better. But I'm a sucker for the old, crappy art, lol

I think I preferred them without the floof of hair around the cap. As others are saying, they're much harder to distinguish as bottles now. Major improvement on the BR potion though.

I might have to agree a little bit that it's harder to tell they're elixirs in this case. 😳 My identification problems come partially from the odd bottle shape with its obscured transition to the cork/cap of the container, but (unless I'm totally and completely missing it somehow) my biggest trouble is with not being able to see the surface/top of the potion liquid inside the visibly-clear bottle like we're accustomed to for most elixirs and potions. I'm not complaining or anything, it's just something I took note of :o

I agree about them not being very bottle-y. I think it's because the colour of the "bottle" is too similar to the ears. It may need more reflections (to show it is glass) or for the bottle to be a lighter colour.

I don't know how I feel about these revamps. On one hand, the new artwork is gorgeous! On the other hand, they don't really look like elixirs. Looking at the images it's hard to tell what they are without reading the hover text. At first glance, I thought they were some sort of weird new doll. But at least they're pretty.
