Reminder about Battle Updates

Just a heads up, the Throwback Challengers for this month will be released after the Battle Coliseum updates this Saturday. Remember that one of the updates this weekend will be a full opponent win reset, so get your wins in while you still can.

If I can take a moment to brag, thanks for the reminder to sit down and gut out the last wins against Para. Recycled Beast yesterday. I'm going to miss that 10 on my statistics page more than any of the other wins post-reset.

p.s. Tier 14 when please? Please please?

Yep, the whole BC! It shouldn't take more than a few hours. If something happens and it ends up lasting more than Saturday, we'll make sure to have a post about it :)

that won't happen :p I don't have a hard time as to when it'll go down because it depends on all of our schedules that will be working on it. I highly doubt it'll be at midnight, though, because none of us want to work hours into the night (and possibly mess something up!). Like I said earlier tho, I'll ask the programmer that'll be working on it + BAs when I get a chance today :)

Do you know exactly when this is gonna reset on Saturday? Like is it a random time or (hopefully) at 11:59 kind of thing? Curious to know if I have to dedicate my entire night to this tonight or if I can wait until Saturday to do some of them.

@ColdDragon We don’t actually have to manually spin up servers anymore; they spin up themselves when needed. They did this during Morostide correctly, there were just other issues that made it seem like all the lag was due to the servers. We’ll be keeping an eye on it though! :) I believe posted on the Battle forums that we won’t be resetting your EXP. So there isn’t a rush to spend it!

Even if it doesn't start right at midnight, it's probably best to finish as much as you can before the 11th so that you don't end up being in the middle of stuff when it starts. :)

No, EXP won't be resetting that was confirmed in some forum comments in the battle chat thread (I don't have a link, but I remember seeing it). So you shouldn't have to worry about spending it right now if you were saving it.

We don't know what the updates will be yet, other than the opponent win reset. We'll have to wait and see ~

Can you spin up some more servers today and tomorrow? The site tends to lag when lots of people battle and the next two days should have lots of that.

I'm off Friday so I think I can finish getting all my wins in on my 35 battle pets. Woooo for finishing strong!

The new exp system is so wonderful, it's what I wanted years ago. No longer do I have to do spam clicking and weird mental math afterwards!

I don't think it'll be at midnight, since there's a lot to do and no one wants to stay up a few hours to do it ;) I'll double check with the BAs and programmer working on it later today for you tho!

(i just have to add some items easy peasy on my end)
