Updated (Some) Wardrobe Eyes

I feel like the (and recolors) are closer to the original Sul eyes than the new ones are. No offense to the artist, but as someone who used Sul eyes before switching to wearable ones, the new ones are just ... nothing like the expression the old ones had at all.

Not to comment a dozen times, but I did want to apologize if I came off as rude in this post. I meant no offense to the artist. I just logged in to see the new eyes were staying, and I was just trying to convey I was sad because I'd log in almost every day and see my main avatar most of the time, it was like seeing an old friend I recognized and it'd make me smile. But in no way did I want to make anyone feel bad or come off annoying about my opinion.

Some of the updates are nice but I'm surprised by the Sul eye change. It totally changed what the eyes were doing. It went from that aloof stare to the, I'm just gonna stare at you thing. Would be nice if they kept the look of them looking into the distance. That's one of the defaults I actually saw used a lot, and because of that maybe just bring back the old ones too and give them some other name.

Although I like the new Koji eyes, I have to say that their expression is very different compared to the old one with the eyebags and slightly frowning eyebrows; the new one looks more flirty.

No. Artists can't do CW eyes or facial features in general. It's why I worry about my catte. My HA is not really an "H"A, she's a CA. She's from a race unique to our RP setting, but think of them as like Mi'qote only less anime and a little more Actual Cat in body form? I've yet to find a pair of official eyemods that suit her and if her default eyes are changed to look less slitty-pupiled, I will be seriously bummed? There are official cat eyes in several colours, but they're huge and cartoony and don't fit her face or the makeups she uses that I've spent loads of CSC on.

I love the updates and will have to consider using these again in the future! Though, I hope they are not too high up... that makes layering a pain.

I appreciate the updates and I can see a lot of people really like them. Would it be possible though to get the old versions either built into the wardrobe or as items? I liked my old eyes and the new ones have an entirely different look/expression.

uggh While I appreciate the updates, the long lash has been my staple for a decade and the revamp is not even usable. It is set too far up, and honestly I liked having the BIG lashy eyes :( I agree with others, adding more options rather than changing old ones might have been better.

I'd all but given up hope of this happening! It's such a massive improvement on all counts. Finally, more than two default eyes are actually usable. Hopefully some of the others get an update in the future.

I don't like that they got shifted upwards, it's so hard to use default eyes with wigs because of how high they were already, but I LOVE how they look, so I'm hoping they'll be shifted back downwards soon

Like 100% of my outfits that don't use delish eyes will be devastated if Cache ever happened to be changed.

oh, not the Sul. It used to be my default. I will beg of you, please don’t update the cache eyes, or at least leave the old version and add any newer versions under a different option. I have a few long running HAs with the sul eyes and it’s rather devastating after nine years to have lost them, but I guess that’s subeta.

I'm so very pleased I won't have to look at the old Koji eyes ever again, was so beyond tired of seeing blank HAs with them. The rest look pretty good too!

A lot of the placements on the face actually seem a little off to me while going through these with bald head. Many feel like they need to shift down and to the right a bit.

I hope the set between timid and punky doesn't get changed, or at least not much. It's the only set of eyes on site that has pupils slitty enough for my catte without being ginormous, and we can't do customs with slitty pupils....

My only issue with these is they all feel a little higher on the face but maybe I'm hallucinating that?? I love the Koji and punky makeoverssss. Narrowed and suspicious are p awesome too.

There isn't a no eyes option anymore, just drag the eye layer beneath your base if you don't want the default stuff to show up.

Omg yes I'm so happy to see revamps for some of the default eyes!! i hate having to rely on items bc I can't keep track of them all, so this made me super happy :') The longlash one does seem a little off but overall these look SO much better!!

Most of these are an improvement, but I think the new Longlash is too high up and possibly a bit too far apart. I happened to be messing around with Longlash today before the revamp so I have these before and after pics of Longlash+Side Ponytail and given how many of the hairstyles we have are bangs-heavy, well...
