New items in the Carnival Shop are so fun! Hell yeah give me a higher price, and items worth buying, there are about a trillion worthless items in there, and this is one of the most straightforward and simple currencies to earn. When nothing great is in there my tickets pile up pretty quick. I only have one burger backpack left and then I can start buying these amazing candies.

I'd take good quality items I have to work for over a bunch of cheap nonsense items any day. These are great.

It's not a typo. That item was a Cash Shop item back in the day, that's why it's so expensive.

I’m not basing any of this off sP conversion! For the Carnival Shop, getting 1-3 tickets is pretty easy, it’s just one or two games at most. That’s what the cost for a lot of the items in there is (that haven’t been added in the past two months or so). I just played all the games in the carnival and got:

Mallarchy - 2 tickets Ring Toss - (none) Balloon - (none)

Two of those I know you can play again in 12 minutes. I had two other people test it, and one got 4 tickets total and the other 3. Just one round of games, I’m able to purchase any item from the first four rows. That’s 32 items of choices I have. The one that got four tickets can choose from the first 48 items. Let’s say my luck stays about the same, where I get 2 tickets by playing those games once a day every day for a week (like the very bare minimum of effort on my part). I could choose between 112 items in the shop. That’s insane! That’s why I’ve added some more expensive items, because there should a few things in each shop around the site that users can set as a goal. I'm not saying everything in there should be hard to get, but it'd be nice to have an incentive for people to keep playing the games.

I think that was because it was a cash shop item at one point so it would be a pit pricey token wise naturally.

Ohhhhh wow. These are absurdly amazing. Yeah, the prices are darn high, but they're gorgeous enough that it seems proper. Especially that Nectar Drop, my goodness! O.O

The thing is though that all those cheapy items "in terms of how much carnival tickets they cost" aren't really cheap. They sell for a nice premium in sP compared to their direct WT cost. So they are not in any way worthless, of unbalanced. From a practical point of view it's very difficult to get the same value of sP per time-and-WT put in for all of these more expensive ones you are creating.

I've been being nice and selling items like this in my shop anyways, because not everyone has time or the inclination to pick mallarchies. But maybe I just shouldn't.

(no but really, I’m trying to balance out prices in all the shops, it’s not great to have a bunch of cheap stuff that people can get very quickly. We want some items you have to work for, assuming you don’t have a bunch of tickets/tokens/whatever stored away. We want some items on the more expensive side, some on the cheaper side. We’ve balanced out some shops pretty well, like token shop and recycle. Now it’s time for the other’s! :)) drills does like to send people there, doesn’t he

First time I've never had enough points to buy a new carnival item/s in one go. Not sure if I'm happy though, getting the points is soooo slow because only bluff and mallarchies are semi reliable sources :c

Read below! The carnival shop especially had a lot of cheap items, I'm working on balancing that out. The next round of Carnival items will be more mid-range. :)

I see... It's not much of a complain, because well, it's nothing outrageous, it's just that... A lot of us like getting (or trying to get) all the possible things (collections, clothing, foods...), but it's kinda hard to keep up :P

They’re okay prices because and I have been increasing them and making them more diverse in ranges haha. Token Shop items were 50-250 for a long time, now we have items as high as 750. Now that we have some items at the higher side for the Carnival Tent, we can add things at the mid-range (30-60). We went a very long time without adding anything new to the shop, so people had crazy stashes of tickets haha. ha fixing

Carnival points aren't even super hard to get, they just take a while to accumulate. Play the Mallarchy game as often as you can, you're always guaranteed at least one point from that (for only 1 wiz token too, not a bad deal).

Prices for token shop, blue building, crystal shop and recycle beast are pretty OK for me, though. Even if they're only for hoarders (fragging/recycling),, that's what they always were... Items for hoarders.

I totally understand that you guys don’t have time to do things like carnival games etc all the time. Carnival Shop has a lot of cheap items, so I’ve been working on balancing that out some which is why a lot of the newer stuff have been on the higher end. The Recycle Shop has a good balance, so I’ve been adding things more mid-tier than super super expensive. I try to also pick Token Shop items for restocks that are various prices, so if someone doesn’t have a lot of wizard tokens they can still grab something. i’M NOT TRYING TO KILL YOU GUYS I PROMISE.

And as far as forum shop, I’m not looking to add something at like 50 points or anything. Those points, along with Crypts, don’t need super expensive items since the points are already pretty hard to come by. :)

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Things are getting so expensive lately D: Since the last dinosaur costume item on carnival stand I played mallarchy pond like... dozens of times every day and only got 400 tickets, so I'll need another month to get all the new items... Quest items are the hardest ones to get rn because it takes a lot of time to get quest points, mainly the seasonal ones that costs some terribly painful to get 40~60 points. Not to mention the forum shop items, because those are impossible for people who don't spam (I try to spam a little bit sometimes on those pointless alphabet games on Games forums, but still it's pretty hard to get 1 forum point).

A more serious answer to : I made them more expensive because they're pretty rad backdrops but also I'm moving to add more expensive things to various shops for people to actively work towards instead of having everything very cheap and able to buy in five minutes. You'll see some more expensive items make their way into the Quest Shops, Blue Building, etc. I've already slowly increasing prices for Token Shop items and some Recycle things!
